That's very good news, for all fans. Now people will be judging the episodes less on what they see and more on the dialogue and story.

Never thought this would happen.
Probably because of Funi + Crunchyroll partnership, I guess?! Good news anyway.

A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

Good to see this finally happening. Now we can finally have proper English subtitles for each episode.

Oh hell's yes. The best part of this being that it'll be available for free too, no paid subscription, meaning there's pretty much no reason not to watch this way, woohoo!
Hmm, which site tends to stream better, Crunchroll or Daisuki? And I don't mean vid quality alone, but like buffering and ads and stuff (I'm fine with ads, especially for free viewing, but if one site handles them better while the other tends to freeze up when trying to get to the ads, then I'd like to know, basically).

Better late than never
I currently have Crunchyroll premium which has no ads and I only have buffering problems on my phone (that's probably due to my 4g)Gyt Kaliba wrote:Oh hell's yes. NOT because i don't want to pay..(i'd LOVE to support them!) but because i CAN'T. It's physically impossible from where i live. My only available payment method is something they call "ideal" and they don't have that in other countries. Only where i live. So i couldn't support them even if i wanted to.

My opinion on this announcement will depend entirely on the subtitle quality since they will apparently be handled by Toei and not Funimation (which would mean no Simmons).

Re: Dragon Ball Super to Simulcast on Crunchyroll, Daisuki, AnimeLab
Forgive me for sounding ignorant.. But does this mean it will air at exactly the right time as dragon ball super when we always watch it live (9:AM JPN)???
And will it have english subtitles? And if yes? Is that translated by Funimation?
Thanks.

I still can't watch it because I've got the audacity to not be born in MURIKA!
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Fantastic news. I wonder though, what will happen to the episodes already having been aired?
