Toonami asia might be airing just one episode every week too, Kaiji tang did say on twitter that he is currently dubbing the part where vegeta goes to train with whis a month ago so they might be airing 1 new episode and another repeat.. I might be wrong too!!

Could anybody with TV in Asia possibly tell me how many episodes are available on Toonami on Demand, if any?
Was the hate for Kai largely unjustified?

The story of Kai's production is far more interesting than the actual product.

Well, I hope they don't screw up Frieza's voice by choosing someone to do a Linda Young impression.

Anyway, the dub has been improving.

The most common ideas thrown out there I hear, are Keith Silverstein (Hisoka, Johann Liebert), & Derek Stephen Prince (Piedmon, Vexen, Ken Ichijoji, Demidevimon, Impmon) as Freeza. Keith would sound like Nakao, & DSP would sound like Ayres. Steve Blum altho I'd prefer him as Piccolo would also be good if this'd been Marvel doing this union (as he did for the Asia-only dub of Disk Wars). It's a shame because Toei is a massive company with a huge reach in even Asian markets, certainly as big as Disney XD is?

Anyway, I can tell you it isnt (or even in this dub in general, actually): Patrick Seitz, Ben Diskin, Kyle Hebert, Neil Kaplan, all confirmed through Twitter they aren't in this. Lex Lang mentioned there might be animosity towards Turner's refusal to air FUNi's dub, & Ben mentioned something similar. Erica Mendez (who is almost certainly Trunks here) even went under a pseudonym, likely to avoid beef with FUNi (even if it isnt the actors' fault, contributing to this means taking away FUNi's potential money).

* Now that Ben's out of picture, I think Lucien Dodge or (I'd prefer) Kyle McCarley would voice Trunks.

* One possible name I figure for Shenlong is Darin de Paul - he has no connections to FUNi, & this is a dub by Wendee Lee, whom he worked for on Nier Automata dub recently.

Toonami India (and Asia probably) airs 2 episodes per week Saturday and Sunday

Only of the anime adaptations of their properties. You can find those on various sites for info on them.
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

Darin de Paul just confirmed it's not him either. It wasnt too long a shot, I felt, but nope.

List of people Shenlong is NOT: Richard Epcar, Patrick Seitz, Neil Kaplan, Chris Terglaferia, Imari Williams, Darin de Paul, & most definitely not Travis Willingham either.

I asked Christopher Corey Smith (Lizardon/Charizard), & Keith Silverstein as well.

If anyone wants to help, here's the clip of Shenlong's appearance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KThmuaeKb-o

Have you asked Jake Eberle?? He voices basho in the hunter x hunter 2011 dub, his speaking style and tone is similar to how shenlong's is!!! He is new to industry too so i can see bangzoom totally hiring him for this dub!!
