The 8:00 p.m. ratings are starting to rise, probably because it's a lot more convenient for people. It's still not gonna get any exceptional numbers, Super most likely barely gets any advertise on CN. On top of its lead-ins being nothing, but two-one hour movies, not only that, but for a show like Super. The most optimal timneslot would range from somewhere between 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Those are considered the primetime slots for cartoons.

I wonder if Super will be ever be able to beat Samurai Jack. So far it has always behind One Piece in Japan.
Toyotarō: … I get the feeling I’ve just heard something amazing (laughs). Lord Beerus and Whis turn up in Dragon Ball Super, and have become an unsurpassable wall for Goku and the gang. What do the two of them mean to you?

Toriyama: Well… First off, right now I don’t have any plans for Goku and Vegeta to surpass Beerus and Whis.

It get a lot of advisement, including NEP clips like Samurai Jack.

Also, a lot of casual fans haven't seen the movies since it never got a broadcast release here in the US.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Does it get a lot of advertisements on CN though? I know it does on Adult Swim, but Adult Swim is a niche block.

Almost no Adult Swim shows are advertised on CN since it is an adult block.

I was expecting a better rating for Samurai Jack, the kiss scene caused such a massive reaction on the internet, and couldve helped the DBS replay to reach the million mark again.

It's still doing ridiculously well considering how niche it kinda is.

Wow AoT is pretty low for how big it is supposed to be that's pretty surprising. Especially when S2 is still on going in Japan.

Not too surprising given the time slot. Attack on Titan Season 1 had the primetime slot. Now, you have to wait past midnight to watched.

Now those are the types of ratings I was expecting the last few weeks!

Have Toonami announced what is replacing Jack yet?

For now, it'll just be Samurai Jack rerunning at 11pm

Everything went up, Kai once again doing great, AoT pulling up and Super is back in the 1000+ again.

Wow, what happened with Super this week? Samurai Jack continues to murder everything and growing. Wonder if it could top 1500 this weekend? Kai doing consistent as usual.

Well people have been waiting a long time for Jack to get closure. With Super we have subs already so the hardcore US fans have slightly less incentive to immediately watch.

With Buu Kai we may have seen the arc but it wasnt as recently as many of us watched Super so I'm not shocked it pulls well or poorly on a given weekend.
Currently watching: My Hero Academia

Last watched: Akame Ga Kill, Hokuto No Ken, Hokuto No Ken 2, Hunter X Hunter

Looks like the ratings went up for Frieza's return. It even beat Kai in the 18-49 slot.

It has more to do with Super being aired twice, so people have less reason to stay up to watched the 11;30 airing.
