Samurai Jack needs to go. It's time is over. Glad to see Super doing so well. I imagine once they get into the U6 arc the ratings will be more consistently higher. Hopefully.

Another good week and Super beat Kai again despite being on the Majin Vegeta stuff. I guess Resurrection 'F' hasn't killed Super like some joked about it.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Family guy is airing at 11. Seems the Toonami block is starting again at 11.30.

I really wish they would put Hunter x Hunter at 11 but that will never happen. Such a small following for such a great anime. It would pair well with Super IMO.

In general, everything is down from last week. But look how Super waste everything until Family Guy. Oddly, Kai only beat Super by .2 in the 18-49.

People can catch up. They did the same thing for HxH, JoJo, and plenty of other shows.

So if DBS ever got a marathon it would be past episodes? L-a-m-e.

Because it was a holiday weekend, Toonami always airs marathons on holiday weekends. We've had marathons for Memorial Day and Fourth of July so far, and we've still got Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years left to go.
Baggie_Saiyan wrote:So if DBS ever got a marathon it would be past episodes? L-a-m-e.
Of course it would. The only time Toonami has aired a marathon to burn off new episodes was back in late 2014 for Beware the Batman, and that was only because the rights were suddenly being yanked away from them the following day, so it was either all or nothing there. For all other marathons they've done, it's been repeats of either the first several episodes of a series and/or the most recent episodes that have aired.

Think of it this way, if they were to air a marathon of new DBS episodes for the entire evening, they'd be airing a brand new episode at 3am when barely anybody is watching. That would be a tremendous waste.

I may be wrong but didnt they marathon the end of the Namek Arc vs Frieza before it fully aired last year or so?

No. The closest to that when they showed two Epsoides in a row of Jo Jo.

They did a marathon of the Frieza fight at the end of 2015, but it was all episodes that Toonami had already recently aired.

Good that should consolidate the viewership. But we had been saying for awhile that the 8pm premiere would likely go soon.
