DBZ Kai: The Final Chapters and Dragon Ball Super (8pm slot) made it to the Top 10 Original Cable Telecasts. DBSuper got 1.063million and DBZ Kai got 1.124million. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure also made it to the Top 10 Original Cable Telecasts with 900,000 viewers. Dragon Ball Super (11:30pm slot) got 1,369,000 Million beating out the 8pm slot by 306,000 views.

These numbers do cinch the apparent fact that Dragon Ball does benefit from Family Guy. But Dragon Ball Super also did well enough on the 8PM slot to show it does pull its own weight.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Thanks so much!
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what's the percentage share of households supposed to mean?

The percentage of the total number of households with a television that tuned in to the show.

That drop for JoJo is just unacceptable. Also, I think you mean Mobile Suit Gundam: Unicorn.

In a way, you can say the premiere of Super racked over 2 million viewers and Dragon Ball in general over 3 million. Not all in one showing, but for the night.

I really thought Super would beat the ratings record Toonami had but I was definitely wrong. It isn't even close to Akames 2000000 that it got which is very perplexing hopefully week two does better. I wonder if the NFL playoffs are having any effect on the ratings?

Super also aired twice with over a million both times, so people who watched earlier didn't need stay up to watched 11:30 viewing. Can't really compared it to Akames.

Seeing how Kai is still really good I guess these numbers will hold for DBS then? Also I think it would be better if Kai was Super's lead it in the night showings.
