I just wish Shida and the one that did this comes back.

That was from Yamamuro, who's been absent recently, possibly working on animating the new opening and the new characters design (maybe he will also design some of the minor new ones)SansrivaaL wrote:I just wish Shida and the one that did this comes back.
But I hope he will be back to animate some important episode

Actually, that particular cut was done by an animator named Yuyu Takahashi. Because of his similarities to Shida, he's been nicknamed "Mini-Shida" in the Super Animation Catalogue thread.emperior wrote:That was from Yamamuro, who's been absent recently, possibly working on animating the new opening and the new characters design (maybe he will also design some of the minor new ones)SansrivaaL wrote:I just wish Shida and the one that did this comes back.

Re: Possible the best animators working on the universe survival arc??
That Gokuu Beers fight scene was key animated by Takahashi Yuya not Yamamuro. It was the only sequence that moved well in an otherwise stiff episode. Takahashi is a nice action animator who recently did great work for One Piece Film Gold, but I don't think he'll take part in Super. But, I could be wrong.
To answer the original question, Shida and Ootsuka are confirmed to return to do some work for Super. I think both will do KA for the 2nd OP. The rest of the animators other than the regulars is hard to predict.
I hope Miuma Kenji who did KA for #66 which was impressive pops up at sometime. Toma Seizou too would be really nice to have. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

Oh, so he's that guy. I know who you are talking about. I was sure this cut was from Yamamuro.
Well then hopefully the two of them will be back

Hopefully they are because Super really needs a major jump in quality.

I want to hope that Toei's decision to drop hand to hand combat from Precure this year has to do with freeing up people to help animate Super's hand to hand combat.

Well, the best animator supervisors (in my opinion) are Masahiro Shimanuki, Yuichi Karasawa, Osamu Ishikawa and Yoshitaka Yashima.
And the best Key Animators, in my opinion, are Naotoshi Shida, Futoshi Higashide, Yuya Takahashi, Kenji Miuma, Ken Otsuka, Yoichi Onishi, Jin Inaba, Yoko Iikuza, Megumi Yamashita, Taiichiro Ohara and Kazuyuki Ikai.

Kirakira PreCure will still feature battle scenes, but it will be of a different kind. I'm pretty excited about it. I don't think the lack of hand to hand combat has anything to do with Super. It took Kaizawa away from Super which is a big blow.Chuquita wrote:I want to hope that Toei's decision to drop hand to hand combat from Precure this year has to do with freeing up people to help animate Super's hand to hand combat.
Besides, action animation is not the only type of animation. There's character animation and the series is also going to do something related to cooking iirc, so food animation and all sorts of wacky stuff is expected. With the staff reveal, it looks like Kirakira will be one of the better projects in the PreCure franchise. I don't expect anything to be sacrificed in it for a mess like Super.
