Aye, but will take what we can get! Hopefully this is the start of things to come. August Gigantic Series UI Goku already sold it's limit is having a second shipment in September... this was retailing over 11,000yen... DB is making ridiculous money...

I'm preordering that fucker the instant I can! What was the most recent Gigantic Series figure? I want to see what the quality was on it.
EDIT: Oh shit, the UI Goku is 200 bucks... guess I probably won't get that SSBE figure.... Hopefully we get something more affordable eventually, if the form sticks around like Blue Kaioken then we're bound to get some more stuff.

Any word on how many figures are in the WCF Vol 1 set for the movie?

As for the movie WCF 6 in vol.1, after 2014 Banpresto reduced all WCFs from 8 to 6 looks like they're sticking to it*, BoG had 4 volumes of 8 while ResF had 3 volumes of 6 since it was post-2014 but given the low character count it worked out fine for that film, this film apparently has a lot of new characters so could be looking at 5 volumes. Vegeta and Goku will be in each volume to over ratio the cases (and the new characters to be under ratio'd), so vol.1 will probably be base forms, vol.2 winter clothes, vol.3 SSGSS etc etc.

*However since this year Banpresto have increased the cases from 50 to 56 but sadly the increase is only for the already over ratio'd Goku and Vegeta. Goku now goes from 10 to 14 and Vegeta 10 to 12 thus making the under ratio'd characters even more rare-er. It's a joke.

That's it they're just gonna concentrate on the movie now, other then the likes you have mentioned might get more stuff later but for the other characters that's it especially since the ToP will be a year over once movie hype winds down around March of next year. Toppo, Dyspo etc no longer have relevancy the perfect time was to market them when they were on screen.

Since the UI/UI Omen figure is shirtless, I think I have an idea to fix that. It may require a bit of modification but since the heads are swappable, maybe you could swap the UI Omen Head onto the Super Saiyan Body which has the shirt

Good idea but Banpresto won't allow that lol. They're moulding the heads differently, in the sense the SS heads will be from neck and the UI just the head. As you can see here the neck has a vain in SS compared to Base.

That's what they did with the SS and Base Grandista Goku. SS Goku the head was just the piece but Base Goku was from the neck too thus means it's impossible to swap the heads.

For the FES SSGSS Goku, vol.1 regular SSGSS Goku came in two parts, top and bottom body but the SSGSS KK Goku? All one piece.

For some reason Banpresto just don't allow people to swap heads and customize with others releases... Dumb I know.

And you're right it's great having these releases internationally except it still sucks for us in UK... Banpresto Europe not releasing these until late Feb... Sigh. Toei Europe Banpresto Europe nothing but headache!

FES SSGSS Kaioken Goku, same mould as vol 1 but comes all as a single piece no parts:

Colouring is amazing as expexted as Nakzawa is also a colour specialist the hair is also of a different colour to the regular SSGSS and Goku's skin even has red in places and the use of light and dark red in parts really sell the figure, battle details on the body are subtle and show the effort taken despite being a re-colour of a previous mould!

Eugh this it is ridiculous how amazing this figure is, easily the best Base Black figure completely crapping on the DXF so much. The detailing on the clothes alone! Wow. The hair mould is truly the best feature of the the figure, so good.

Varoq said he took a risk by making Goku's punching arm 5% bigger, I say he absolutely nailed it!

In typical Varoq fashion these are suspended in mid air, he also said he made them to be seen in various angles (and how great it was to sculpt a villain like Freeza) and I think it is safe to say he accomplished that! Here is a comparison of the backs with the BWFC Goku:

Match Makers's Goku's gi is much lighter as expected but also this is where UI not having blood is a benefit as Banpresto do not re-produce blood well and it almost ruins the figures well I wouldn't say almost ruins just that they would be better without blood so I am glad UI figures won't have this issue. Hair colouring of SS Goku is interesting it isn't as bright as Varoq's SS2 S6 Goku. As you can see the back sculpting on both is different no laziness here!

Colouring is awful and they didn't bother colouring Whis' symbol the qaulity between them is night and day and sadly now Bandai aren't even colouring boots!!

Movie

Around this time next month we'll get our first look at movie figures, any spoilers will be blanked but assuming the villain get's revealed in the trailer he shouldn't be UNLESS he has a new form so if he is blanked (assuming one figure will be for him) then we can be fairly sure he has a new form! We have 4 regular prize figures to look forward too (one already revealed of course), the WCF set (one of 6 already revealed) and finally the Ichiban Kuji should be about 6 figures for that.

We'll also get ratios so hopefully regular prize figures are still a case of 36 each, hopefully the WCF is as close to even split as they can be but not holding my breath, all 4 figures if 36 per case will cost 4860yen to pre order but the WCF's will be anywhere between 5000-7000yen depending on ratio! That is insane. So I have begun saving for the movie already, not pre ordering or buying any more figures and then the IBK in December too.... yowza December is gonna be expensive.

And that isn't all we'll also get Bandai's December plans end of next month! October was non existent, if November is too... we could be in for a big December for them too.... HOPEFULLY IT IS ALL MOVIE RELATED and not this BS of putting non-DBS crap in every release.
