Goten and Trunks relevant next arc?

Last arc we had Trunks admiring his future self to a certain degree and possibly he could be inspired by it

So the start of this arc had Goten wanting to train at Whis' but settling for sparring with Trunks. Something it feels like he's not done in a while. They even dedicated some animation to showing these two going at it.


Then we've recently had Kaioshin comment on the boys' strength.

Super's direction lately has brought Gohan to the forefront again as an actual character. And now we've even got things like a motivated buu who may be skinny

So do you think that this is subtle building up that they may be relevant again in the future?

I don't think they'll be relevant till a timeskip to EOZ. Maybe we'll see adult Trunks and Goten do something.

Buu being skinny? Wtf, wasn't he naturally fat because he absorbed the fat Kai? I never knew he could lose weight lmao. This will either be a great idea, or the worst!
