Cartoon Network aired today the 9th episode and will reprise it again at 11pm.

And I have to say that Wendel Bezerra and Alfredo Rollo are better than never, they are being pretty stellar in DBS. Not only them, Felipe Grinnan(Whis) is other actor that is doing a true amazing job, his acting and slangs are totally fitting with the character. Actually the entire cast is doing great, but these names are my favorites until now.

I noted in Episode 7 when Gohan is about to attack Beerus he says something like: "It's time for you to die!" when in the original is more like: "Now, let's end this at once!"

Probably a script mistake.

I wouldn't say this is a mistake. It's not the exact same sentence from the original version, but it doesn't create any incoherence or innaccuracy. They probably just prefered to re-write the sentence this way.

Yes, it does. It's out-of-character for Gohan to say that.

Yes, it does. It's out-of-character for Gohan to say that.
But why it's out of character?

It's not usual for Gohan to threat to kill his enemies before attacking.

I agree, but it sounded more like an impact phrase, not something literal.

Glauco Marques made a video showing his voice for Zamasu

I think it was perfect, Glauco really captured Zamasu essence

It sounds a lot good. I thought Glauco wasn't the best choice for Zamasu, but this demonstration was amazing. I can't say this is equal or better than Shinichiro Miki judging only for this, but for sure it's a lot better than James Marsters's work in the english dub of Xenoverse 2.

I was really hoping for Philippe Maia voicing Zamasu, as his voice would fit very well, but Glauco has a good voice too, and i expect a great job coming from him.

Not only Philippe Maia is from Rio, but I personally don't think his voice fit Zamasu. I don't know if it's his Chris Rock voice in my head that made my opinion, but even if I mentalize Hal Jordan I don't think his voice would match Zamasu's personality

Phillippe Maia lives on Rio de Janeiro. Even if he is Wendel Bezerra's friend it would be hard to cast him as a major character in Dragon Ball Super.

And Ricardo Fábio uploaded a video a few days ago singing the second ending, Starring Star at the studio: https://www.facebook.com/rico.showmaker ... 1611762196

I hope they cast Ricardo in the dub for some character since he is not only a singer but a voice actor too. His voice is amazing.

And finally, the official dubbed version of the second ending is out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJt-DiAQmAs

Thanks to Ricardo Fábio(singer) and Cidália Castro(musical director). They did an excellent job with it.

And about other stuff related with the dub, they modified how they show the voice actors's names in the credits. In the first episodes they were crediting the actors considering the size of their roles in the series, but now they are crediting them by alphabetical order, so, we are having Vegeta credited at first and Goku credited at last, since Alfredo Rollo and Wendel Bezerra are their actors. This is unusual.

It's out-of-character for Gohan to say that.
Also noted in Episode 11 when the gang are on the ship following Goku and Beerus, Gohan asks if Bulma could go more fast and she explains that there's a problem in the engine, Gohan responds: "You don't need to explain, just go faster" while in the original he says "Can you hurry up a bit please?"

Gohan seems to have more of a mean streak here. LOL.

So I was watching some clips from the Brazilian dub and then I found something really funny, I found on whats known in the portuguese DB comunity as a pearl. This is really funny, as a Portuguese I always saw the Brazilian dub as the faithful dub and the Portuguese dub the one that always made references to Portuguese pop culture, but then I see Brazilian Whis making references from Brazilian pop culture and they put it in the place where it makes it sound stupid in the most entertaining way. Always fun to see both Portuguese dubs having connections

When, exactly? I'm not really following it.

It's when Piccolo grabs his arm. In Japanese he says "Don't touch me. Release my arm!" but here he says "Get your hands off me. I don't belong to you!" which besides not making sense at all him saying that, it's a word for word reference to the song "Será" from Legião Urbana.

Also there was more censorship, the scene where Elder Kaioshin gives Kibitoshin his porn magazine was completely cut out.

The brazilian dub of Super have some adapted jokes and slangs to brazilian context. In general, the dub is still very faithful, but they are taking a few more liberties now.

I bet they were influenced by the One Punch Man dub, that had a lot of adapted brazilian jokes at the scripts, and it was heavily well received by brazilian anime fans a few months ago.

But I have to say that this is not the first time they do something like that, in Battle of Gods movie they actually did it too. At the final scene of the movie Goku says "Foi sem querer querendo"(accidentally on purpose), what is a reference to "El Chavo del Ocho", a mexican TV show that is very popular in Brazil.
