How long do you want the upcoming battle to be?

I believe the question in the thread title mostly speaks for itself. How long do you want the TOP's battle involving the 80 fighters to last?

For me, I would like it to last 25 episodes (with a side plot taking up maybe three episodes worth of the time).

I don't think 25 episodes is needed. By the time it starts we'll already have 20 episodes done. We need 15 more max. I don't want 14 episodes of no new Goku form just for him to reach his new "limits" on the last episode of the arc. And by the way he used that "Pushed me to the limit" line again this episode. I wonder what he's hiding. He's definitely got something up his sleeve.

It's hard to say without seeing how it's going to begin to play out and the pacing of it.

The Tournament itself is only supposed to be 45 minutes? That doesn't mean too much I suppose. I'd say 10 episodes I guess.

Guys there's 10 main characters competing, plus 50+ opponents. Assuming every character gets at least one fight, and whatever the final fight in the tournament is is bound to get at least 2-3 episodes, plus the resolutions, it's going to have to be at least around 15 episodes at the minimum.

You can I can imagine some episodes will have flashbacks, I'd say this tournament will be 10 episodes max and then a final fight after that being about 4 to 5 episodes of whomever the final antagonist will be.

15-20 is the sweet spot. 3-5 episodes to kind of set the stage and get all the other universe characters involved and some big twist that throws a wrench into Universe 7's prospects. By this point you can get rid of most of the fodder. 5-12 should be the heavy hitters getting series and the big dogs making their moves. This should also be the part where major sublots like Hit/Toppo/Jiren get their time to shine. 12-15 should be where the final twists are in place, Freeza makes his moves, the Universe 7 team is in real peril. Then everything after 15 should be the resolution and where the heroes show their best moves and strategies to win.

I would want it to be around 15 episodes long so all of the main characters and participants get a fight. I have a feeling that it will be more like 10 episodes because animating 15+ episodes of all action will be really difficult.

About 12 episodes should do it for me, if all there is to it is just the battle. Each third episode being episode 66 quality animation wise, for a total of 3, giving more than enough time for great key moments to all the main players, with the rest of 9 keeping the consistent quality we are used to by now, for the more generic and standard moments and struggles, plus whatever sub plots they have planned on Earth or somewhere else.

However, I have no damn clue how this tournament is going to turn out. Almost everyone got set up and build up more than I imagined, there's stuff like Freeza's schemes to come into play. Really can't pinpoint for sure anything that might happen. Pretty much everything is on the table with this, so for all I know, it could go on till the end of the year.
