New Form & Ultra Instinct Explained - Something a lot of people seem confused by....

A lot of people seem to be confused by the causality between goku's new form and the ultra instinct technique (i hope i used that word in proper context). goku's new form is the form he attained in episode 110 with the glowing aura, the slightly stood up hair, and the silvery eyes. that form was triggered by the energy from the spirit bomb acting as a complete replacement for goku's energy which was more or less depleted.
the ultra instinct technique is something entirely separate from that form. as whis explained (if the subs were correct), the clash of conflicting energies from goku absorbing the spirit bomb caused him to unlock deeper potential. clearly this potential manifested through the form as the ultra instinct technique, which whis was teaching to goku and vegeta. if any visual aspects of the spirit bomb form are shown again through goku's power ups because of the unlocked potential, it will likely be a little bit in the eyes or the aura, but it wouldn't really make sense, so most likely we will not see this form ever again unless another spirit bomb is absorbed.recognized it instantly, yet instead they had to pay attention to his actual movements to make sure, rather than the form.

it makes complete sense that the energy boost from the absorbed spirit bomb caused goku to roughly match with jiren in combat. first of all, this does not necessarily mean that goku was as powerful as jiren at the time. for example, obviously jimeze was not as powerful as gohan, yet the nature and mastery of his techniques allowed him to do well in that battle. it's easy to understand if you actually think about it. what the spirit bomb is comprised of is pure energy, NOT life force, and they are not the same thing. that spirit bomb was formed from the energy from the top warriors in the universe. of course it will give him the necessary boost to fight against jiren. goku is already in top physical condition, and his mastery over energy manipulation is top tier. his awareness and sensory capabilities are top tier as well (when he's not fucking around). how can there be a problem with this scenario when you add in the ultra instinct technique and his tapped potential?

the ultra instinct (if the subs were accurate) technique seems to allow the body to react completely based on sensory input without thought. the reason it has to be sensory input is because there must be a reaction. sight, sound, smell, touch, and sensing energy all play a part in sensory, however it seems that goku is mostly relying on his ability to sense energy. it's like all of the reactions become reflexive. if you recall, gohan stated that goku is moving differently than usual, and piccolo mentioned that goku was attacking jiren faster and harder as their battle progressed. if you watch closely during the fight, most of goku's actions are reactions. you might have noticed that his eyes always seem fixed on jiren's face during that encounter, but early during that fight from goku's first attack, the expression in his eyes would change slightly, or he would look elsewhere from time to time which was mainly at his own hands. i believe this was due to slight confusion on his part, because he wasn't yet used to reacting completely based on reflex. as the fight went on his eyes became completely fixed on jiren's face. less use of the eyes from goku is also obvious when it showed goku's point of view looking in jiren's direction. he could barely see anything beyond his intense aura. you might have also noticed that jiren does the same thing, keeping his eyes mostly in a fixed position. actually i'm pretty sure most or all god tier fighters have not been using their eyes too much. this is the proof that they are relying mainly on sensing energy signatures. it makes sense that sensing energy is likely the fastest form of information input, because they simply know where the energy signature is rather than having electrical signals transfer information from point A to point B. so to shorten that, reacting reflexively based on input from sensing energy signatures is what causes goku's actions to be different than his normal actions, and why he was able to keep attacking jiren faster and stronger. because rather than processing thoughts, his body is simply doing what it does best.

before beerus reveals that goku is using the ultra instinct technique, the camera focuses on goku's eyes. this leads me to believe that lack of eye movement or utilization is the most obvious trait of the ultra instinct technique. this is just more proof that the spirit bomb form itself is not directly tied to the ultra instinct technique, because it took the angels and beerus a long time to realize that goku was using the ultra instinct technique. if it was only in the movements, then they would still have realized sooner. i know there are many fighters that don't utilize their eyes too much or at all in combat, but there are other traits that characters were able to pick up on. first of all, goku's reactions were completely different than normal. second, his attacks and evasive maneuvers were becoming more and more efficient as the battle progressed. there could be other small traits, but these along with the lack of eye movement and utilization are surely the big ones, since these were the only three things that were emphasized by camera focus or other characters.

what do you guys think? any questions?
