Would you say the relationship between Broly and Paragus is the same or not? Because this feels like there's at least a bit more care between them than last time, but then again neither are the genocidal maniacs that they were in the last incarnation.

What does Beet do in the film?

Frieza's explanation makes little sense since he could be immortal and then become stronger. A good explanation (and a way to handicap the immortality wish) would be that a mortal power level "locks" when a mortal becomes immortal. He can't die, but he can't get stronger either.

Still, Frieza could wish for a thousand better things than 5cm.

Paragus only wants to get his revenge and sees his son as an object, and wants his son to be the strongest.
Broly is more "sentimental" and is not a bad guy inside, he lived with his father for a loooong time on an abandoned planet where there are only monsters and no humans or w/e, so he is attached to his dad one way or another, he also got a green-monster-friend but Paragus didn't like it because it made Broly softer and if Broly became more soft he wouldn't train to become stronger, so Paragus just took his only friend away from him.

Freza said that the movie explains it well, I just couldn't keep up with the live stream. When I will rewatch the stream I will try to give more details.

Perhaps Frieza had received an insane amount of brain damage as a direct result from the oh so many number of times a buff dude like Hakaishin Toppo or Jiren had taken him down a peg.

I honestly expected rationing to be a thing from when we saw the planet broly lives on, It's not like there's much food.

To be fair they could have forced him into Oozaru form and then killed him, there's a good amount of meat on those things to eat.

Thanks! I knew it. Everyone was getting all bent out of shape about Whis getting involved. I tried telling everyone that Broly would just start attacking everyone in sight. Including Whis. That was the only logical encounter that could occur.

He’s wrong. No where does it mention Gogeta uses Soul Punisher. Not to mention that Gogeta SSb completely dominates Broly and Broly is only saved by Cheelai’s wish
