Oh damn, Paragus looks old af! Never seen an old Saiyan before. I thought he would only be in flashbacks but it looks like he’ll be in the present as well. I want to speculate what his involvement in the film might be, but we’re getting a trailer real soon, so I’ll just wait for that.

I'm still not sure which Broly version I like more, but for Paragus I will take Toriyama's version. Not only he looks awesome and he still has only one eye, but also an old Saiyan is something new. Great job, Toriyama!

The worst thing about new Broly is still the fur color. I wonder if there's a plot reason for matching his Berserk form hair. I already started to think that fur was ripped from when he became oozaru in the past or something like that.

Liking all the new designs for characters - sans the clothes. Toriyama's in some bizarre butt-ugly colors phase. But the hair and faces/body details are nice.

I really like Paragus' new design. Him being old may imply he'll be in the present time as well which isn't what I expected at first.

I guess it makes sense that Paragus would be mad old by now. The old movies which took place when Gohan was around 11years old had a middle age Paragus. Present day Paragus would probably look like that if he survived

Holy crap, that expression on serious Broly's face is super intense, love it. That nose on closer inspection though is a little yikes.

Rest of the designs are good as well. Like the reimagining of Paragus.

There is a DBS Movie panel tomorrow at SDCC that said they'll show the trailer and presumably it will be uploaded online then too. I don't know what time the panel is though.

New Paragus does look a bit as if they took his original design and just aged him up.

I love the new Paragus.

Just the aesthetics and his facial design and hairstyle give off the context of a man who is old, broken down and been through some rough shit.

I have to be honest though... the long pink skirt is a bit off-putting.

Other than that, great work, Toriyama.

As much as people are getting salty and butthurt about “rehashing” this opens up potential for a plethora of new lore.

And that STILL doesn't make it a good idea, as all of that is possible without Broly in it.

Possible? Yeah, maybe. That being said, if the return of Broly is the Avenue by which we get new lore? Meh, I’d say it’s worth it. And as others have mentioned, pretty much every idea fans got salty over during Super ended up being the best parts of the show. Freeza in the TOP for one.

InB4 “HURR DURR BUT FREEZA WUZ A GUD CHARACTER! BROLY WUZNT” and other non points. The difference between Broly and Freeza returning is merely one of preference. Not fact.
