First, let me note that there will be other versions released than these collectors, but I'm making a topic for this because this seems to be an absolutely stunning release from AB Vidéo. Something never seen from AB, although the DB and DBZ collectors were all right, they were not close to these extras. I'm so happy to know french!

Company name: AB Vidéo.
Release date: 22nd of August.
Number of episodes: 46 (the 3 first sagas).
Sound: 2.0 PCM french, 2.0 PCM japanese.
Subtitles: French.
Price: 59.95 Euro for the BD box on BDs and 49.50 Euro for the DVD box on 8 DVDs. Everything except the poster is in A4 format.
They can be pre- ordered here: https://www.anime-store.fr/as/Dragon-Ba ... -7658.html (it's very important to order from this store as they are exclusive to sell the collector edition).

Why can't Funimation do anything like this ? I'm always seeing these amazing sets from other countries yet we're stuck with the bare minimum releases from Funimation.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Take a look at Amazon.fr and you'll see multiple great looking sets.

Dude. I know what i am talking about. I own most of the French releases. I am a fan of the French dub (kai, super) and I have also lived in France. I was referring to extras, and for DBZ the sets look classy but there are quite some problems with the encoding and no extras.

Great to see more of the international promo art, totally shits on the majority of domestic Japanese promo art.

Man. Are there any French proxy sites I can use to get this shipped to the US? These look even better than the Latin American collectors editions

There's an official home release of the Latin American dub of Super?

This is frustrating.

Here in Spain, just next to France, we have to buy 3 boxes to get those episodes, 50 € each, with practically no extras. I wish the France edition had at least English subs.

I daresay this is so far the world's best Dragon Ball Super collector release:

I used to watch DB in French. They do have a big anime and DB-culture over there, as DB was airing in French dub sooner than in the other European countries or US.
The language suits the suspense and epic nature of the series just fine. If you don't understand French, this box-set probably is not an option.
It's a great set at a great price though.
