That's typical geekdom. All of these "terrible ideas" appeared in Super and - of course - he praises them now.
Broly is such terrible idea that half of his recent videos are spam like "What if Broly had god ki?" or "Beerus vs Broly"
Also, remember how until official reveal he was trying to convince everyone that the new villain is not Broly for 100%. That must've been a shock for this guy lol.
"I will concede that your feelings are worthy of the mightiest of Saiyans. However, there is more to my power than just this. Before you die, I will show it to you. This is the difference in power, between the primitive Saiyans and the evolved Tsufruians." ~Baby Vegeta

He wasn't the only one saying those things. Very few people gave credit to the idea that the villain in the teaser trailer was Broly. And when he was announced, a lot of people were upset because it was such a "stupid idea," and TOEI was "running out of ideas." Sure, Evil Goku and Broly sound like stupid ideas on paper, but the execution is ultimately what matters. And the execution with Goku Black and the rebooted Broly were very good, for the most part.

Wasn't there some speculation after the team was revealed that Magetta was actually going to be Broly in a suit?
Also, everyone throws the "there is no evil Goku" rant back at Geekdom now and he's owned it. Part of what makes that dude legit is he cops to it when he's wrong.
Taking a screenshot out of context and saying "haha this guy is dumb like and subscribe" really only makes you look foolish. The idea that Broly, Bardock and the like would show up in an alternate-universe tournament, implying that the only alternate dimensions that exist in DB are other timelines, is terrible. It limits everything to stupid derivative "what-if" fights that are so bland and hollow that many would swear off the series. That's what he was addressing, nothing was said about those elements being reincorporated into the main story via flashbacks and rewrites. It's a jab at the idea that alternate universes would have DB somehow turn into Dragon Ball Multiverse, and how absolutely fucking awful that would be.

When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

Whenever I see him, I can't stop thinking about this Ultra Instinct meme or the theory about him being a stoner.
Been a Scooby Doo Fan since I was a Kid so this IMO is just all the Greatness with its unique idea and nice fan artwork, the UI Shaggy Internet Creation has sprung a life of its own by what I have seen!
But that gets me to asking, how did this UI Shaggy become a Thing?! Why has is caught on, where did it start, questions like that I am wondering allot?!
