DBZ AMV's

Post by Ringworm128 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 7:11 am

I think there should be a thread for AMV's. Whether it's a really clever idea with great editing or random footage with some random metal song placed on it post AMV's you like, dislike or ones you made yourself. To start this thread off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5RX8ugq6tw

One of the first AMV's I ever saw.

Sure, the video footage isn't great, but the editing is.

This is amazing! I love it!

You know if there is a better quality version? I mean, I feel like it's 1997 when I watch this! lol

That's how the video was originally, when I saw it years ago. (I want to say 2002-2003) That's as quality as it gets.

But I think that adds to the charm.

This AMV is a recent favourite of mine. Downloaded it years ago and forgot but it's really nice. Plus I'm a sucker for Trunks Music Videos.

Oh man i wish i kept the only one i did a few years ago. I took the music from the orange season set remasters main menu and created a video of the events of the Namek / Frieza saga. I don't even remember why i deleted it, but i wish i didn't. It was one of the first video's i ever did and it was one of my best.

You make a DBZ AMV with terrible footage and logos all over the place...? That's how you "do" it...? No you don't :(.

Here's something we made... uhh... nine years ago, apparently.

I was just sick of bands like Linkin Park polluting AMVs, and saw a Slayer one that for its limited resources was decent enough (The scream at the start synced quite well with the footage for instance). It isn't just the footage and the song, it's what you make with it.

In my honest opinion the best amvs are from Naruto even through I'm a Gurren laggan and dbz fanboy. But the best amv on YouTube is indeed a dbz video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBPssmVQQN4 . Amvs are so fun to watch and create as they show hidden stories behind the anime that no one saw at first sight.

Someone else posted this one in a thread on this forum a while ago and I still really like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0xWWHFQJTo

There aren't too many DBZ AMVs I like and the ones I did have long since been removed from youtube. Most AMVs always came off as trashy to me but I guess that's the price you pay when the barrier to entry is so low.
