Curious if there is anyway I can burn this back on to a disc while keeping the DVD's menus etc from the official release?

This is amazing. I've always wanted BPU back honestly. Fitting too since it's still Yamamoto

Could you make a version that has Vic Mignogna version of Dragon Soul all the way through? And how about the Nicktoons replacement song for Trunks vs Freeza that was still Yamamoto?

What about a version that has ShadowLink's fandub all the way through?

Sorry, don't think I'll be doing either of these. Shouldn't be too hard to do, if somebody else wants to take a crack at it. If anyone wants the musicless 56 scene to make the Nicktoons replacement version, let me know.

There was actually a guy earlier on in this thread who was doing that, so I'm sure it's possible.

It's possible, but you need a bit of knowledge about how to disassemble & reassemble DVDs. You gotta:
  • Demux the existing DVD using PGCdemux
  • Mux with new audio using Muxman or similar, taking care to make it exactly how the official DVD titleset is arranged
  • use PGCEdit to 'replace' the titleset in the original DVD
It can be a little daunting and complex, especially with how fucky Funi's DVD authoring can be.

Yeah I did some research and those are the process I used. Burn to to DVD and everything plays fine on MPC but I insert into the PS4 and it doesn't read it and even when I play in VLC it doesn't work either. Guess I messed up somewhere?

Thank you sir, words can't describe how awesome this is. I loved Kai parts 1-4, they were just so good Yamamoto score and all, when the Cell arc came around though with the replacement score it kinda ruined Kai for me and just left me with a bad taste in my mouth in regards to the product as a whole. After much delay though I'm going to bite the bullet and complete my collection using your audio tracks for parts 5-8.

This is an 80s/90s animated all-ages show that was popular amongst kids. It's not some potent super weapon that might fall into the wrong hands that we have to protect from evil.

Hey, I know this was two months ago, but have you gotten it to work? I've been thinking about burning them back to disc myself. While we're at it, has anyone else been able to do this?

Probably not. That was hastily put into the scene as a means of making sure Toei/FUNi wouldn't get into any legal trouble while they were trying to figure out what was going on with the score.

There are a few episodes like that and it would be pretty cool to have decent versions of those alternate mixes.

No, why would it? It's fiction. The strength of the characters is not possible to reach in reality.
I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Are you adding any updated episodes to the links in the OP? I don't want to have to go through every post in the thread to make sure I've got the most recent files.

...That reminds me. What's the highest quality rips for the post "part 4" Nicktoons Yamamoto episodes (using Yamamoto with no alternates, so using Webripa for the ones with alternate Yamamoto score on TV)? Since the end result of these is in Stereo rather than Surround Sound, have you consider putting in the audio from the aforementioned episodes into this project , only using the uncut kikuchi surround mix whenever there were any silent moments or alternate lines?

Definitely! I always remove and replace any updated episodes.

Ehhh... I think that would sound kinda messy, mashing up TV audio with Blu-Ray audio.

I know i'm not SuperSaiyanHedgehog...but "Parts 1-4 of the Yamamoto Revival"?

That would be completely unnecessary, as Parts 1-4 came with Yamamoto to begin with.

ImageYes, but be certain you buy the correct release. Volumes 1-4 were reprinted with the Kikuchi score.
