Dragon Ball AF - Original Author Interview (David Montiel)

Post by MrKaytos » Sat Apr 14, 2018 12:46 pm

Hi there! I suppose this is the right place to publish this, if not, you can change it wherever you want. The thing is... I've just interviewed @TablosAF, David Montiel, the original author of Dragon Ball AF! He answers everything about his series and his first manga! He inspired @youngjijii and @TOYOTARO_Vjump with his original art and idea, so I consider his work really important. I hope you like it! https://www.hobbyconsolas.com/reportaje ... iel-200926

Holy shit, I just read through it. He plans to do this story Game of Thrones style with multiple interlinking stories. This sounds like it's shaping up to be awesome!!! I can't wait to see what he does next
Someone asked me why I invest so much time into collecting Dragonball doujinshi.
I answered, "Because I don't see anyone else doing it".

Just throw the link into Google translate to read the page in English, it has pretty decent accuracy between roman language pairs, that's what I did :D

It's awesome you've taken the time to interview him. In his own way, David's created a legacy in DBZ fandom which I doubt he'd anticipated (haha, and Kanzenshuu helped in it own funny way)! The interview's a pretty great read, and I completely understand David's feelings that Toyotaro and YoungJiji should acknowledge that his designs inspired their fan mangas-- they're essentially what led to Toyotaro getting a career working on Heroes and the Super manga. Just read the first chapter of David's AF and it's off to an interesting start...
