She is as far as I'm concerned :< or at least she's Raditz's mother.macho_man wrote:She will always be a mistery, it's not even confirmed that it is the real name of Goku's mother. :)DNA wrote:Heh, nice, looks fun. Pity that Tanipu doesn't make an appearance in any of the chapters.

Who the hell is Tanipu?DNA wrote:Heh, nice, looks fun. Pity that Tanipu doesn't make an appearance in any of the chapters.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

A fan created character, the mother of Goku and Raditz.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Who the hell is Tanipu?DNA wrote:Heh, nice, looks fun. Pity that Tanipu doesn't make an appearance in any of the chapters.
She's in a lot of doujinshi.
Re: Toyble DBAF [Sept 25, 2010] pg 175-191
I'm cleaning the pages, maybe tomorrow I'll release them.
Re: Toyble DBAF [Sept 25, 2010] pg 175-191
macho_man: Cool dude! Thanks!
DBZGTKOSDH: Yeah, like StarRot said, the fact that she's accepted as a character in so many doujinshi makes me want her to at least be referenced by Toyble. She kinda has Goku's face and Raditz's hair, explaining each's features.

Toyble has already drawn her in a sketch, that's it:DNA wrote:macho_man: Cool dude! Thanks!

Although, it's not storyboard-related. Maybe she will be featured in an eventual DBZero Episode2, maybe not. Only time will telll.
By the way Toyble used to release a lot of sketches in his blog in the past...

Oh yeah! Totally forgot about that, but yup, that's her all right!macho_man wrote:Toyble has already drawn her in a sketch, that's it:

Probably due to lack of time, he also posts less pages over a longer period of time.macho_man wrote:By the way Toyble used to release a lot of sketches in his blog in the past...

I've always rather liked this rendition of Tanipu (at least ... I'm pretty sure this is meant to be Tanipu?)

At least Tanipu sounds better than Hanasia. But having Goku's face doesn't make very sence, since Goku took it from Bardock... But then again, Goku & Tullece look like twins, but they aren't blood related (Officially at least).

Re: Toyble DBAF [Sept 25, 2010] pg 175-191
after i finish reading dbzero ep 1 i notice that the book is very short.. why is that?
Re: Toyble DBAF [Sept 25, 2010] pg 175-191
Because it's just a short chapter done for fun and to fill pages up.goku1234 wrote:after i finish reading dbzero ep 1 i notice that the book is very short.. why is that?
Re:
Going back with the pages, I've found this old description by HermsHerms wrote:Toyble has finished drawing the extra bonus for DB Zero, which will be a 4 page photocopied book about “Barduck’s secret”. Unlike the main story, it will be gag-based, or at least have a comedic touch. He’ll start copying it tomorrow, but he’ll only be able to print off so many, so if they run out, then too bad.
So this is the confirmation, it's very rare!

That's it: "DBZero Episode1 - The Secret Of Bardock". I've cleaned it by dust and print scurfs, trimmed and removed blank pages: http://depositfiles.com/files/e8knof2v2

But, you know, it's Herms we need for translation. DesireCampbell is a typesetter.
