Asura is male.
Thanks, I was a bit confused because I recall someone at one point claiming female, so didn't know what was right.

Asura is male.
Good to see that he's from the best part of France.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Don't want to be the power level guy, but should this man from the powerful weapons universe that strong to resist Majin Super Perfect Cell?

I’m rereading the entire series now due to that page but there was a good debate in the comment section that convinced it’s not that bad that he was able to pull that off, and Cell more than likely wanted to be hit by that for he Zenkai.

Hmm, DBM can be funny after all.

It's not hard to believe that someone's tech can match another's natural abilities, we saw that much during the Android Saga. Suspension of disbelief could be shattered with a roided up Cell vs tech, but then again in Super Future Bulma's last creation was a bullet that could kill a God so...

I kinda figured that big blast would be a "Vegeta's Final Flash vs. Cell" situation at best -- it could hurt/damage Cell but definitely not kill him.

They may have weapons that let them hurt somebody way above their level, but I find it unlikely that they'd be capable of dealing with absurd regeneration like Cell's (or worse, Buu's!), since it seems like their cutting-type weaponry is the strongest thing they have (what with being able to penetrate the barrier and all) and that sort of weapon would be useless against the regenerators.

They believe their "Farewell Buu" blast would easily kill Broli, so it would, at least, hurt Perfect Cell.

That poor kaioshin is probably going to get killed by that slicer move... I predict he'll die and both Piccolo and Cell will survive, due to regeneration. It'll be a tactical error, the fights have been going the good guys way overall, this might start to turn it back.
Yamcha almost certainly did not cheat on Bulma:
He was afraid of Women, Bulma was the flirty one.
Yamcha wanted to get married (it was his gonna be his wish)
He suggested they settle down in the Trunks saga.
Alternate future Trunks is not a reliable source.
Toriyama wanted new SSJ Kids and not make new characters.

Given how the other dude fared against 16, I don't find it credible that they could stand up to Majin Cell given that this Cell is able to fight against Ultimate Gohan.

It's interesting that they kept the "whistle weakness" from Movie 4 yet they ignore Slug.

Well I mean, he did get his head blown off and still regenerated....
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

This might be set up for him to get another Zenkai, as he was planning to do earlier in the tournament.

If he's dead, that's a little abrupt.

"Somehow"? I would say it's very likely he survived. The nucleus is a tiny weeny thingy, it's unlikely the laser hit it.
