Haha, the #1 complaint of a human in the Dragon Ball multiverse. Don't worry Videl, with hard work you can even give a Frost Demon some problems. Also, my first post in the DBM thread. No clue why I never looked for this here before.
Big fan of the characters of Dragon Ball, all of them, especially formerly prominent sub-characters. -__-

This all is getting repetitive, I hope they move back to the tournament soon

The comic uses reference from movies and the anime, so that's kind of a lackluster reason.
DBM is based on the manga plus some reinterpretations of some extra elements like the movies. Nothing, besides the manga, is as it was. We can't take filler from the anime and assume it happened in DBM, just like we can't assume it happened in the manga.
Especially when the East Supreme Kai said in the original manga that he was the weakest of all the Kais. so North and West Supreme Kai should be noticeably stronger than him.
By an unknown amount. For all we know they can be only slightly stronger.
And speaking of which, since all his mentor didn't die, why isn't East Supreme Kai stronger? The primary reason why he was so weak and experience is because all his mentors were killed. So this Shin should be stronger. At the very least, Dabura shouldn't stomp him like that.
We have no idea if he was weak just because he didn't have mentors. That is never stated. In fact, being alone should have motivated him much more to become strong since he was the only Kaioshin left and couldn't rely on the power of others.

I love it here lol. I might not post much, but before returning as a member, I've been reading posts here for many years, found lots of funny ones too lol. I wonder if Salagir still visits this forum, haven't spoken to him in awhile
Just curious as I also haven’t read Multiverse for some time now. Wasn’t it supposed to go beyond the tournament at one point? Different arcs per say.
My apologies for the delayed response, have not been on in awhile, been a rough couple of months, but as I understand it, the only stories outside of the tournament itself are the specials. Gogeta Jr. (The first artist that Salagir worked with to create DBM) did illustrate another fan manga in the past however called Dragon Ball Z: The Adventure Continues in which takes place not long before the events of Multiverse, but that was discontinued before Multiverse I believe.

Very well drawn as per usual, my only critique is that the first two panels are kinda off putting in the sense, that Kakarot's thigh is already so close to Goten, that it undermines the movement from Kakarot, when hitting him in the head.

I'd like it, if his right thigh was not present there in the first panel, so you get the sense it's behind and then it's a more flowing move with Kakarot charging in with his left elbow, then Goten blocking and ducking out of the way, but then immediately getting hit by Kakarot's knee, that comes on the followthrough.
It is also a shame that panel is so small, but I understand this is how it is.

Good point. Quite a lot of people can emulate Toriyama's art, but his talent for good composition is much rarer -- and underrated.

He has no heart :) But seriously, in Majin form you are much more durable, Videl broke Spopovich neck, and he was fine.

Are Gohan and Piccolo just now noticing the other Gohan and Cell? Its hard to tell looks like Gohan is turning towards them....
Yamcha almost certainly did not cheat on Bulma:
He was afraid of Women, Bulma was the flirty one.
Yamcha wanted to get married (it was his gonna be his wish)
He suggested they settle down in the Trunks saga.
Alternate future Trunks is not a reliable source.
Toriyama wanted new SSJ Kids and not make new characters.

That has to be my favorite page in a long while. Amazing little character moment.
