Cell wasnt obsessed with Kakarotto Plus, Vegeta knew about Babidi ability, so he could mentally prepare, Cell didnt know about Babidi and his powers.

How can he control Freeza as well, he's far more prideful than Vegeta will ever be? For an answer? I The only real explanation is that Babiddi in this time line possibly upgraded his Majin power based on how Vegeta was capable of escaping his control.

Unfortunately, Freeza in Multiverse is an absolute bitch, so I didn't find it unbelievable. If it were Super!Freeza we were talking about though, now that would be bullshit.

...maybe Babidi can control Freeza and Cell more easily than Vegeta because they're both unrepentantly evil while Vegeta at the time Babidi tried to control him had spent seven years settled down on Earth with his wife and kid, leaving behind his previous murder-everybody-on-an-entire-planet way of life? I mean, his way of controlling people does involve manipulating the evil thoughts within them after all.

I really liked the art in this page, but man... How that will turn out? I can't say it's not interesting an army of powerful mind controlled guys by Babidi, but that's mean the tournament is gone for good, right? I don't see how they will continue after.

He probably wasn't downright evil, he just had enough evil tendencies for Babidi to control him.
