Glad to see that they'll be tackling the Buu arc next. I just hope it won't take over five years to wrap up. I actually can't believe that the Android arc started way back in early 2013. That was around the time I started watching DBZA.

I will admit, if you had left Mr. Satan to how he was in the real series, he still would have fit in your guys' series. But I look forward to Great Saiyaman/Videl shenanigans, Fat Buu wanting candy, and Goten and little Trunks.

The boat thing was one of those happy timing things where TFS made an innocuous joke about 17 wanting a boat a couple years ago, then the Universe Survival arc happened and turned him wanting a boat into a meme. Incidentally, I think that entire arc came out between episode 59 and 60 of DBZA. And every episode of DBZA came out between Kingdom Hearts 2 and 3 so it's turtles all the way down.

Fantastic work--not just the episode but the entire series. I'm not going to go into ass-kiss mode so what I'll say is this--when people discuss what Dragon Ball is "about" they usually focus on the superficial veneer that's been parodied and exaggerated a million times and that perspective has even permeated into the actual franchise to some extent. But Dragon Ball has always had a foundation of heart and camaraderie that was the support structure upon which everything else rested on. And that can easily get lost in translation when adapting it. DBZA never lost that. If anything it elevated those themes and that actually takes talent and discipline. It's not that DBZA is a "good" reimagining of Dragon Ball Z--it's that it's an authentic one.

Was expecting a jab at the plot hole of Cell's regen but oh well. Good episode, it's nice to see Kuririn and Yamcha treated decently for once. Glad the series is continuing into the arc with the most potential for humor.
