This is what happens in every single thread. Yesterday, me and you (Bardock) were trying to avoid an argument with goodguy, and here we are today, almost arguing over guys' series. I don't want to contradict myself, so I'll stay true to what I said before. But it does seem kinda weird just bashing these guys' series and they're all (a lot of them) members of the forum. It's like saying it to their faces, but on the internet, which makes us seem stupid. This is why I'm so good at debating after the debate is over.

Since you're here and you obviously have a lot of fans, I'd suggest creating a central ARDBZ thread for your fans to discuss (it / things) there.

That's a good idea. I'll do that.

Umhm, that sounds like it'll be a good thread. So that means we can stop the whole DBZ vs. ARDBZ thing?

I really liked how they covered Goku in Hell. The Oni were so dumb that even Goku outsmarted them. The Princess Snake bit was funny, too. Especially the Metal Gear Solid references throughout the whole thing.

... I actually only just watched it tonight < <

That was pretty goddamn funny. Starting with a pot joke put me off, but it got damn funny soon after that. The second episode was absolutely my favorite- what with the quick cuts, dry commentary and endless stream of Son getting the shit beaten out of himself because he's an idiot.

Absolutely wonderful work on the voices- I love the echoes of the Ocean cast ^^ Looking forward to more of this.

Pain, this is directed at you.

Please, do not state your opinion as if it were fact. That's all, man. Sorry you don't enjoy our series. But in the future, maybe you could give constructive criticism? Expand on why our humor doesn't work? Try and analyze a joke or two before stating that it's bad?

Just watched episode 4 a second time and it's starting to growing on me. The part with the box is pretty hilarious, especially how you have the actual "alarm" sound when the exclamation comes up over Goku's head. Snake sounded like Snake too.

Well fuck those guys.
I can always rely on Rocketman to sum up my feelings very well in minimal words.

I like how TFS focuses on plot just as much as the humor because this way it feels more like an episode then a bunch of funny scenes edited together.

Somehow I see the orphanage plot being handled with giving all the kids deep manly voices to make fun of the FUNimation dub of the episode where they hardly sounded like kids.

and I was expecting "I'm a cucumber". But that worked out quite well.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I wonder if he is asked to do Piccolo often, a lot of fans I know ignore the fact he ever existed and claim Chris Sabat had always voiced the characters of Piccolo and Vegeta.

I try to ignore those kinds of fans. Both Sabat and McNeil are on friendly terms so there's really no reason for some sort of heated debate on the subject.
