I don't care about anyone who says this parody is becoming more serious and less humorous, cause this is BULLSH*T! They can't just make a laughing stock show with every material, so it has to have some change of tone at times and the way TFS does that is perfect! (No pun intended)

Now about the final part:

- Yamcha and Krillin dialogue about what death was like was genius, Vegeta "baby boy" thing a bit forced, but I can take it

- Even though this is a parody, Vegeta apologizes to Gohan was such a powerful scene.

- Cell saying that Gohan should try sign language in their beam struggle was just... lol you guys improved his character 70% better on this! Also was that a remix of Gohan Theme by Faulconer? Amazing!

- Though Cell singing before his death was a bit anticlimatic, it was enjoyable nevertheless. Didn't expect that "Dramatic Finish"

- Why King Kai cursed on Yamcha? Man that "Bokutachi Wa Tenshi Datta" instrumental remix when Goku was speaking was truly gold, I gotta congratulate you guys. This whole episode had excellent music placement

- The edited middle finger on Vegeta to Trunks was god damn funny but not a lot as Krillin and 18 ending scene

- Before finishing the episode I was ready to compliment you all, for years of free entertainment, no matter if you decided to end it right way. I'm really happy for you guys deciding to continue!

I think it's more that compared to the other characters, he doesn't have much going for him besides two old running gags leftover from Season 1 and father issues. If you think of Gohan moments in Seasons 1-2, none of them have interesting twists to them that make them memorable distinct from the original (imo, at least). It's really easy to say what Abridged Goku or Vegeta or Krillin or Trunks are, but Gohan is a bit more difficult.

Well, that's easy - he's Encyclopedia Gohannica

But I always liked their take on Gohan as a wordy bookworm, and I found the exaggerated rages funny. And I think, as the (relative) straight man to Krillin and Vegeta, he worked well in Season 2. The daddy issues came into play at the right time for me, I liked how his relationship with Piccolo developed, and the amateur sleuth idea they threw in with Trunks was cute. I've enjoyed pretty much everything they've done with Gohan to date.

Then again, Gohan being my favorite character from the original, I may be biased

I've particularly enjoyed seeing Calvin experience the story for the first time. Even watching DBZA he experienced many scenes such as the original Super Saiyan transformation as epic moments.

There isn't enough of that on the Internet with Dragon Ball. Mostly just people who are already familiar with the story watching DBZA.
