Her chest looks awful. I want an adult Bulma figure to go with my Vegeta but I am afraid they will make her with a ridiculous looking chest too.

Sorry not to be mean besides the chest the figure looks nice but I hate when they make female characters with such exaggerated chest. They do this to the One Piece girls too.

Kamesennin/Roshi S.H.Figuarts is coming! This was revealed at the Tamashii Nations World Tour in Barcelona, as per Toyark.

While this statement is correct, I have met woman who like this stuff... But the first comment makes more sense. The minute a girl walks into my house and sees statues like that, weird things will come into question... Do you fantasize with these characters from an anime? Do you get off on them? What does your mother, and children think of those statues? Why don't you have posters of real woman or something? Why is this a sexualized version of an innocent children's show character? All these questions.... Sure the statue is nice, I just would never buy one.

Why would I invite a stranger into my house? Of course I fantasize about the fictional characters, it's less creepy than doing so about real people and I clearly own merchandise of them in sexy or cute poses. I don't ask my mom what she thinks of sexy figures, it's none of her business. I don't have kids, it's a tremendous amount of resposibility that one should refrain from having if they have no interest in them in the slightest. I don't have posters of real women because they're real people and you can't own and create as detailed a fictional context as one can with fictional characters. Unless they're professional artists in the porn industry it's just weird and even then it's still a level of realism that disrupts the fiction. Why is it from a kid's show? Because there's inherent sexuality in Japanese media and characters.

Who the hell leads with "By the way, I love fictional chacters." I at least wait until people ask about my hobbies before I do that much.

It's a children's show. Targeted age group is like 9-14 Year Olds..... It's odd to take an object or character from a Children's show and sexualize it for fantasy purposes.... Like, what if your 8 year nephew or something loves the show and then goes to your house and sees that? Like I said, I like the statue, and it's actually pretty sexy looking... But I just wouldn't have the balls to have it in my house lol

Not sure where to post this, but I need someone with experience with AmiAmi. I usually buy most of my figures from BigBadToyStore.

The Banpresto Super Vegito figure is available for pre-order. I originally saw it on BBTS and it is $35, which is normal. I found the same figure on AmiAmi a couple of days later, and the price is 1300 yen or ~$11. In the title for the AmiAmi listing, it has "Collectable Prize" and I have no idea what that means. I contacted AmiAmi to ask them about it and I wasn't really given much info, other than "what is listed is correct according to the manufacturer." AmiAmi also has a bunch of other figures listed with "Collectable Prize" in the top and they are selling for similar prices as well. This has got to be too good to be true, so I'm wondering what the catch is. Anyone know?

Banpresto figures are usually prize figures given/won at arcades etc via crane machine. So the base Japanese value are usually around that ¥1000-2000 yen range, Banpresto though through their branches release the same figures months later in America Europe etc as actual figures at up marked prices such as that Vegetto being $35.

So there is no catch, it's the same figure. It's just more readily available to the Japanese hence the lower base price.

Wow, had no idea. Looks like I'm going to pre-order most of those then. Thanks for the info!

No problem! A lot of Japanese sellers also sell for similar up marked prices on eBay praying on the uneducated, like I seen listings for the recent DXF Vegeta release going for $30-40 and I got mine shipped for ¥2000/$17. It actually wasn't until 6 or so months ago I realised I was way overpaying for these.

Just sucks for me that Ami don't ship to UK for these so i can't pre order these... Btw do Ami give you the shipping cost upfront or at least an estimate?

Wow, looks like I need to do the same. I stopped collecting non-SH Figuarts for awhile because I hated spending minimum $30 for every figure.

AmiAmi doesn't give shipping estimates for pre-orders. Their site says "Please note that we are unable to provide shipping estimates for pre-order items as their size and weight are not determined yet." It makes sense though. I have only ordered one figure through AmiAmi and shipping was like $9-10, which makes me worry about shipping for multiple items. The only option I have is EMS, which can be quite expensive.
