Has anyone else viewed the more complete copy of the movie dub that's floating around online? It's got the Emperor Pilaf scene intact and original commercials. Pilaf's voice kind of reminds me of Numbuh 1 from Codename: Kids Next Door, though more nasal.

The commercials that ran during the broadcast indicate this was aired at 8:00 in the evening as some sort of movie event. It could have been after Xmas of 1989 and before New Year's. It was then followed by an episode of Taxi (the TV series).

Yes. I got a kick out of hearing The Dragon Ball Legend instrumental. Someone claimed it was exclusive to the Spanish dub of the Harmony Gold version. Turns out it was not.

Only one problem: Where is Part 1?

I bought a nice Hi8 digitizer that Kei17 asked me to buy (which some users on here helped me with), and also sent Kei17 a letter a couple days ago along with my HDD which he said would be alright. Since he's too busy for this kind of thing, he told me to work on this (?). I sent him a PM around June 4th but haven't heard back.

I would really appreciate it if Kei17 could send me the tapes so that I can make copies of the digitized material and then give both things to Sabat (and Kei) along with a flash drive that has folders containing audio comparisons and graphs. It would also be convenient because I'm moving to Dallas (which is 3.5 hours from my house). Now, if Sabat really plans to use this Fuji audio, I could give him the other 291 episodes of audio including the Ishikawa audio Kei17 gave me.

He's been active over on his twitter. If a shortform message is enough to get his attention I'd recommend just trying that for now - he used to have a habit of disappearing and not responding.

Exactly. Sabat, the guys here on the forum, have all spent a lot of time on this including money. To bail now, not even a "no", but outright ignoring people after leading them on would make someone a not very good person.

What I'm trying to say is if someone doesn't want to do something, say no and try not to lead them on in the first place (assuming that is what is taking place). I really hope everything goes well guys. I think this is a super exciting prospect, that everyone can benefit from instead of just a few. Best of luck.

Just so you know, guys, what shinmaru says here about AnimeMaakuo is not true. AnimeMaakuo has spent a lot of money buying equipment so that kei could start the storing process of the tapes. Dunno what's up with kei, but this thread isn't a thread to shit on anyone. It's a thread made so that FUNimation can use this precious audio. The whole intention of bringing up an honest update is because kei isn't replying to anyone, not even derek, and the silence is making people worried.

Bashing? I'm explaining why Kei don't respond to Maaiko. plans like what? You are speculating because you don't like what I said because you are afraid that it will affect the process of Funimation getting the audio. Kei already knows about the lies. Nothing new.
