This is subjective. Not a fact. I find Movie 8 Broly far more interesting than Kale.

2. Kale and Caulifla are horrible characters.

Many people criticize them for being "horrible" characters while in fact they are somewhat unique in representing their own archetypes. Kale is objectively more interesting than Broly ever was (and by objectively, I mean she had more screentime to develop from the "KAKAROTTO!" to become something more interesting), and Caulifla is a nice contrast and throwback to what saiyans actually are.

Broly is not just all "Kakarott". That is just an overused cliché that was enhanced through the second movie. Broly is a pretty smart and sadistic ass of a character.

Regardless I agree. Outside of Vegeta, everyone else does it like it's nothing, and with Vegeta, it doesn't even make sense. He just pouts until he gets it.

How does he know? He literally had just achieved Super Saiyan. How does he knows it takes a "pure heart"? No one told him, it was a transformation that he didn't intend or even know he could achieve. No one told him the steps. You are taking his words as gospel.

IKR? Like if there's something we could call filler in Super it would be the series as a whole, not just one or another episode.

In a way I think people who "bring the original down" by comparing moments of Super to Z / DB are showcasing why the originals aren't that great to begin with. I mean, its what people say right? Just because it was bad before doesn't mean its good now?

I pretty much think that the ToP dispite some issues is doing fine. It has cool fights with good animation, the use of techinique and experience to win some fights despite the power gap is still relevant, some characters had nice interactions (Vegeta with Cabba, Goku with Caulifla, 17 with Ribrianne), other characters got character development like Cabba to an extent, Caulifla, Hit and even Toppo if you want to count his line about "there's no good or evil, only survival or erasure).
The new tracks are good and well placed and FUCKING FREEZA MAN.

It could have been handled better, that's true, there are some characters that needed more focus (looking at you Tien), some fights didn't even seem necessary (looking at you ep 106) .....etc.

But so far, it's been fine imo, thought i hope we get something different soon, like a plot twist or something like that.

I think that Dragon Ball Super has allowed the series to return to it's roots as a weird, comical and action-packed parody while also blending elements of what made Z so great. By the end of Super, there will be no doubt of it's worthiness as part of the series.

Sorry, by stating "return to it's roots" I was referring to Dragon Ball. I believe that Super is a great blending of the best of DB and the best of DBZ.
