Goku's Alien Origins Questions

This is just some stuff a guy elsewhere asked. I haven't the slightest clue about the answers and I figured if anyone did, it be someone here.

Hey guys I was just thinking of something, what Superman material did Akira Toriyama read? Did he see the 1978 movie or did he read Silver Age comics? Did he read "Whatever Happened to The Man of Tomorrow"?

How long did Toriyama have the alien origin in mind?

Apparently he never planned for Goku being an alien. However he did plan for Kami being alien.

I recall reading somewhere that Toriyama originally intended to reveal Goku's origins in the Piccolo Jr. saga, but for whatever reason postponed it. Can't guarantee that's accurate though.

I assume he just watched the Superman movies given some his comments that he doesn't like reading manga and loves watching movies. But as far as I know, no one ever asked him about Superman in his interviews.
