Yeah, holy shit, Trunks is not unbearable anymore. That makes me pretty optimistic for the Kai dub. I was really worried that horrible voice was going to make a come back.

Good clip overall. FUNi really aren't holding back on showing this thing off. I feel like I've basically seen every key moment so far!

That felt like a bad joke from the early Z dub. Come on, FUNi. Don't pull that with us. Please.

A line like that coming from anyone else and I'd probably have a problem with it, but it's coming from the literal king of bad jokes.

But even in the Japanese version there wasn't a joke. It was literally just "Run, Bubbles!" Nothing about bananas. I just don''t know why they have to put jokes where there wasn't any.

I know there weren't any jokes there, but the addition doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the film. It's not a random cat food song, pointless innuendo or some obnoxious countdown. They slipped in a joke to a character who is supposedly renown for his comedy. It's not out of character or anything and it still get's the point across about warning Bubbles of the danger. Had they changed it to something completely different, like making a joke about how he wished he had planet insurance or something, then I'd most likely have a problem with it.

I actually thought it was a little funny hearing King Kai say that. made me think of bubbles actually grabbing bananas and heading for cover. haha Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Agreed. Laura Bailey and Kara Edwards actually fit their characters rather well when they don't force the raspiness. Little kids sound little, they're not supposed to sound tough.

Ha! I put my headphones on to listen to that trailer with Trunks and I agree with you guys. I don't know why It sounded like his voice actor was changed through my speakers. ya know something...after finely watching the original series I really appreciate Pilaf, Mai and Shu now. I love their characters.

How did the Bills spelling get started? Like, it was on that one 3DS case and then it just spread like wildfire. It's super annoying seeing people so jaded and thinking that's his real name. Despite FUNimation saying other wise. It's like, they're okay with stuff like Frieza and Pikkon, but Beerus? That's crossing the line for some reason.

Still waiting on an answer for this. I really do ponder this question since the people who say Bills drive me up a wall.
