I like GT, it has it's flaws but it's still enjoyable especially the SSJ4 Goku vs Baby fight and parts of the Shadow Dragons arc.

Ummm, you can't form an actual opinion and say you strongly dislike it when you've only seen 5 of the 64 episodes.

That's like someone watching only 10 minutes of a movie and then saying they strongly dislike the film.
But it isn't 10 minutes of a movie. It is five episodes of a direct sequel to something that I assume he liked. With five episodes you get the setup and can see what the writers are trying to do with the material they have been handed. If you strongly dislike what you see then there is no point in going on. Is it enough to give an argument on why GT is bad? Maybe not. But he didn't really do that.

Sure he can. It's pretty easy to form an opinion from just seeing that much. Besides, those 5 episodes are likely not the only exposure Kei has had to the series and so his opinion is probably based on more than just them anyway.

I formed an opinion on Dragon Ball Evolution about 10 minutes in and it only got worse from there...

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
