Some simple questions about Dragon Ball GT

Post by Zenkai » Wed May 15, 2013 10:52 pm

Do you strongly dislike Dragon Ball GT?

Have you seen all 64 episodes of GT and the special? If not, how much have you seen?

If you have seen every episode of GT and the special, do you like GT?

That is all.

No but enough to form a solid opinion of it.
Despite not seeing every episode, I do like GT.

No, yes, and eh...*waves with his hand*

I repeat again the old adage I stole from MagicBox - GT is a series full of great ideas, but horrible execution. I want to love GT like I do everything else, I really do...but all I can manage is a 'like' and a wonder of what could have been with better story control.

Ah, gotchya.

Anyway, as for the thread...

I've seen a good bit of GT, except most of the "Lost Episodes" and the Super 17 Saga or whatever. I like it for what it's worth, but sort of exclude it in my own personal Dragon Ball cannon.

I have seen all of GT but I don't strongly dislike it. I just dislike it. It is full of a lot of recycled ideas from previous material and has poor action choreography. I like some of the character designs, the score, and the few original ideas they had but it isn't really worth watching again.

Yes.
No. I've seen up until we meet Baby and then a few episodes after that, all of the Super Hell Fighter 17 arc, some of the last arc, and the special. I find the show painful to get through but this is based on the old TV dub. I'm sure it's much more tolerable with the original Japanese music. I find the special to be pretty fun though.

That is all.
1. Not at all
2. Yes! I've seen all of the series except for the original Dragonball. and I hope to start watching those soon.
3. I don't hate it but I don't exactly love it either. I like some things like nova shenron and ice shenron, And since I had a-lot of native americans in my family, it was great seeing Upa and how much he has grown up.

And I really love the ending to Dragonball GT. It made me sad. :P there are little things that I like about it. but I absolutely! HATE! the american soundtrack for GT! and this is coming from somebody that likes the US soundtrack for Z. It's always ''Dah Dah Dah dum'' haha over and over! :P

1) Yes.
2) No, and I've seen only five or so episodes seriously.
3) I don't know because I've not seen all yet, but I guess I'll never like it.

1. No
2. Yes, I've seen all 64 in English (thank god for the Japanese BGM track), most episodes in Japanese.
3. I've seen the special as well, it was a fun thing to watch. I like it, but it's not as good as DB/Z. But, I do like how SSJ4 turned out, wouldn't change a thing about it. Like a lot of the core ideas it brought despite the execution being terrible. I like its music as well.

1. No
2. Yes, dub only though.
3. Yes, but need to see the original Japanese.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.
