Worst Dragonball Toy.

Post by KentalSSJ6 » Sat Oct 19, 2013 3:19 am

Ok, so we have a favorite Dragonball toy thread, so I figured id start a worst DragonBall toy thread. They can range from just bad figures to bootlegs.

For me, the worst toy I have ever seen would be this bootleg SSJ4 Vegeta.

That last pic is an example of Mexican bootlegged DBZ figures.

Mexican bootleg figures most of the time are actually pretty much original sculpts. They're nice to own from a collectors standpoint because of their weirdness, which is their natural charm.

Here's a vid about them - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHMD4z9SWOU

Legendary Super Saiyan 5 Angel Broly? Even though that reeks of bad fan-fiction/Broly fanwanking. Weird action figure bootleg.

I'm not sure if these are visible, it's my first time posting pictures straight to the forum.

There's an entire site for these. http://uglydbzmerch.tumblr.com

That's not a bootleg, and is not ugly, is just that is not so well painted. That figure and 29 other figures are part of a collection of GT figures for Kiosks in some contries from Europe. A collection with more than 10 years.

Funny how Amazon sells bootlegs. I do feel bad for the kids who watch Kai on CW or Nick Toons and ask their parents/guardians to buy the kai toys on Amazon since places like Toys R Us or Target stop selling DBZ stuff a long time ago.

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Every Irwin toy with gun accessories. I mean, one of the first things established in the first episode of Dragon Ball is that guns don't do much to these characters.

The worst part about that is the Vegeta figure has closed fists, meaning he can't hold those guns. :lolno:
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Pretty much nobody liked those figures. I had the Cell when I was younger and the rubber damages very easily.
