Hey there!

I'm looking for the following soundtrack CD (not the game itself):
[PlayStation: Game Music Tanjou-hen] Dragon Ball Z - Ultimate Battle 22

Country: Japan
Published by: Forte Music Entertainment
Catalogue number: FMCC-5067
Release date: 21st July 1995
Barcode / Japanese article number: 4939360506722

Album cover:
Image
If anyone has it in decent condition and is willing to sell it, I can offer a good deal. :)

The Kai Season Sets are identical to the "Parts". They still even say "Part _" on the disks and menus. It's just rescored.

All right. Not easy to keep up with the naming  .
The Season releases actually what you want. They're available from places like Amazon or eBay if you really want them. I wouldn't count on anyone here selling, most people don't own Kai unless they actively want it.

I still have these discs, if anyone wants them. I'm also willing to trade for the Boo Arc Dragon Box Discs (half of 5, 6,+7). Thanks.
djtaiyouken wrote:Very soon, I'll be selling some Dragon Box Discs and cases. They don't have the yellow boxes, just the cases and the discs. I have:

Dragon Box 1 (with Dragon Book, no box) -$50
Dragon Box 2, Discs 7-9, (case, no box) -$60
Dragon Box 4, Discs 22-24 (case, no box), -$60

I cant put them up just yet, as I'm busy with school, but feel free to PM with questions or offers. Thanks.

As for the condition:

Unfortunately, the original cases were badly damaged, to the point where I tossed them not long ago. This probably isn't for you who want to show it off. Fortunately (I guess), the cover art was bland anyway, the real goods are on the disks themselves. (If you really need an illustration, the Season 1 Blu-rays have the exact amount of storage you need for this, so you could just blow a few bucks on a used copy of that. Sorry, that's the best I can do.)

    Disks:
The disks are a little bit worn, but fully functional. I've combed over every last episode, soundtrack, trailer, and extra to ensure that the content on these disks are in their absolute perfect state.

    Content:
This one is more for those not familiar with what this release is, feel free to skip if you already know what you're getting. The content of the disk itself... well, it's probably what you'd expect if you're familiar with the methods used to create it. Think Dragon Boxes, but with better colors, crushed blacks, and in barely DVNR'd 1080p HD (for those of you not familiar, that means it's grainy as hell). This set was made using Funimation's film, meaning it retains a couple of the same odd attributes that all of their post-2006 releases do. Nothing deal-breaking, but little things like Gohan's skin flickering a purple tint in the last few seconds of episode 4 (see below), as well as a few other odds and ends.
ImageImage
If I were to describe the quality of this release in comparison to others, it's somewhere in-between the Dragon Boxes and Kai. It has better colors than the Boxes, but worse than Kai. The lines seem less dusty than in Kai and the boxes, and the picture more vivid as a whole, but there's actually bit less detail overall when you compare them.
I'm ball-parking around selling them in the next month or two, but it all depends on when I find a more permanent residence. I doubt the market is huge, but one of you guys are bound to want them, right?

Of course, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me, or respond in this thread, or whatever you feel you need to do.
Finally getting around to this today. I think I'm just going to put it up for auction on eBay, since multiple people have PM'd me in the meantime, and I don't want to play favorites. I also plan on including some duplicate disks that I don't want; 2 copies of Sleeping Princess, as well as more movies and a GT single disk.

I'll edit this post with a link once I get it up. And here it is!

I'm not looking for anything yet but can somebody tell me if I should get the Japanese Dragon Boxes or the Japanese Singles? I like the covers of the singles plus it is easy to get them new unlike the Boxes. I dunno, can anyone tell me if I'm correct?

If you don't care about the extras or TV specials, get the Singles. They have the same video quality.

If you want the extras, such as the Dragon Book, Japanese Commercials, the Hatchiyack special, get the boxes. Plus, you get the right to say you have the rare Dbox sets

Are the Level sets really worth that much now? I picked up both sets used on Amazon for less than $30 a couple of years ago.

It literally happened in the past two months. In January, you could get both sets for about $20-40 a piece.

That's so weird about the level sets. Unless someone's a hardcore collector I'd just buy the Australian version. 1.2 is only $17AUD brand new

The prices for the US version have gotten extremely high lately, it is bizarre that it took so long. I really need the money, so I kind of have to try to sell if for high, but I will lower it if I end up having to.

True, but region codes and whatnot. You can get around that if you have a region-free player, you plan on ripping to MKV's or re-burning after removing the restrictions. I know I wouldn't want to bother with that.

Funimation Dragon Ball Blu-Rays are Region A & B coded. Same with their DVDs.. 1 and 4.

You really don't need to keep bumping your sale... It's all still on the same page.
