I'm not entirely sure what this is, but I need to know more about it. OuO

I want it to be a special, or a stage show (because "Brilliant Scientist" Gokû), but I have a feeling it's actually more like an educational event type thing. I tried to translate the top line (so much kanji) and all I got was that this DB-related thing takes place in Nagoya.

Keep Goku away from volatile chemicals. Bulma, you should know better to let him into the lab.
Kentai wrote:Son Gokuu is a fascinating character anyway, because he is - at face value, anyway - an idiot savant. The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Haha  This is a very cool picture. :)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

This is advertising the “Doing Science Through Dragon Ball!” exhibit in the Nagoya (“DB’s homeland”) Science Museum, July 16th through August 31st. “Will you be able to ride Kinto-un, and pull off a Kamehameha!?”

…OK.

Ohhhhh, man. Please, please, please tell me someone has a better quality version of this picture. I need Scientist Goku. I need him badly.

...That sounds wrong somehow. But I stand by my words!

A "Bill Nye, The Science Guy" show starring Goku would be the best thing to happen to this franchise in years.

Other series like Pocket Monsters and Yatterman sometimes get little animated specials that are shown in planetariums and other museums. Any chance we could get something like that?

Judging from what I've read on the forums, Dragon Ball and science don't go hand in hand very well.

Goku: It's um... Somethin' that's deep inside ya. Ain't sure how ta be any clearer than that.

Goku is now a (Super) Saiyantist. This seems like something come full circle with that odd line from the FUNimation with Ocean Cast Dub.

Guess it would be best to ask Assistant Gohan instead.

Bulma and friends are no doubt searching for a cure to Goku's expensive appetite. Judging from the age of the characters at that time, no progress had been made by the end of DragonBall.

Also, my father was a BRILLIANT Scientist.
That time your teacher asked you to draw Cell in biology class.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about the fans a re-issue might alienate because if all they're concerned about is being able to scalp the people who were either unaware of the Dragon Boxes or couldn't afford them at the time, they're just leeches and deserve to have their greed backfire on them.

"Super Saiyantist" nice one!

A shame that the dubbies don't get the joke because they're used to the Seiyun pronunciation.

Piccolo is wearing a stethoscope and Krillin is holding it up to... something, the photo's too blurry to make it out, and Piccolo can't stand whatever sound it is. Subtle callback to Movie 4, or is Krillin holding the end to a radio or something loud I can't see?

EDIT: Never mind, I don't think Krillin and Piccolo are interacting at all. Krillin's playing with an airplane and Piccolo has something in his ear; might be a stethoscope, might be ear buds.
