New Record! The most push-ups with one arm carrying a 40lb pack in one minute is 33, achieved by Japan's Hiroyuki Gondou at Hikichidai Park, in Yamato, Kanagawa, Japan, on 10 May 2014.

Dedicated Hiroyuki regularly appears on the Japanese TV series Sasuke/Ninja Warrior. He's been doing push-ups, daily, since he was 10 years old and started doing one-hand push-ups at age 15.

Here I thought I was cool because I could do 4 (non weighted ofc)! I've found however that the amount of one handed pushups I can do varies by day (1-4). My friend that can also do it says it varies for him too.

When I read "40lb" I thought it was a lot but then converted it to Kilos and it was just 18kg which really isn't a lot, but still, what he's done is pretty impressive and awesome.

DBZ was one of the catalysts for me to get into bodybuilding (and animating too!! and drawing and............ etc ). I can do 50 pushups straight raw without warming up easy but I doubt I could do that much that fast. Considrering I am 176.5 cm and 84 kg (5'9.5" and 185 lbs) there is no way I could pull off that haha! Kudos to him! I am going to get a "Kame" Character or the "Go" character T-Shirt to train in the gym with soon! Got to love the motivation Dragonball gives people like this guy and myself and many others! Such an outstanding story to do that to people!

Same here, First bodybuilding now moved into Calisthenics to train more like vegeta and just overwhelm people when I do handstand push ups lol - I have been wanting to shoot some vids of me working out in my new Torso T's but haven't got around to it yet!

I give this guy HUGE props, 1-arm push up + weight = hard!! I do have one questions though - did he try match those reps on the other arm?
