Now this is intriguing. So it's a story he originally wanted to do in the manga? If he has heavy involvement, color me interested,
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

This is exciting! I still need to see Battle of Gods.

I hope we get a new film every couple of years for a while.

To emphasize the effort he has put into this new film, Toriyama said that even his first manga editor praised him on the work he has done, even though this editor rarely ever does that.

Praise from Torishima of all people has me super excited about this considering his reputation of being tough on Toriyama.
I challenged Ash Ketchum to a Pokémon Battle.

This clearly makes me the very best, like no one ever was.

Oh wait, Toriyama is writing this? Nevermind

So much wanting. OuO
And way sooner than expected. I thought for sure if there would be a sequel it'd be 2016 for sure.

*Wants more ssjg Gokû because adorable, but feels the "back when being serialized" thing means this'll take place prior to BOG*.

Also, Torishima-approved script gets my hopes up; I've always enjoyed how he and Toriyama worked together.

Yes to "utterly funny".

*Hopes for a better animation budget this time around*.

Movie 15 in 2015, what do you know. :D

This certainly sounds promising. I wonder if this is the thing with Vegeta that he mentioned.

Hmm, I'd originally anticipated an announced 2014/released 2015 movie but thought it might have been a little too early, interesting to see that they're going straight ahead with one. Interesting to hear that it's something he had planned a long time ago, and even more interesting is that Torishima likes it!

Oh shit, I wasn't expecting this to be announced this early.

Kinda dissapoited by Yamamuro still probably being the animation supervisor, though.

Seeing as its based on something Toriyama originally intended to be in the manga, it would be quite interesting to see if it actually takes place during the period he was gonna introduce it.

Goku's year on Yardrat?

His 7 years in Otherworld?

A period between arcs?

Perhaps he changed some things to make it fit a different time era?

Anticipating the last movie was pretty exciting. Not much to really say at the moment until we get more info. As for what we have now, I can say I'm pretty happy with how it was described in the article. A scrapped manga premise is definitely intriguing, as well as Toriyama's need to fuss "over the smallest dialogue lines". More action yet "utterly funny" comforts me that this will be in the same vein as BoG, not that I had much doubt to begin with.

Let the hype begin.

I'd definitely enjoy some more EOZ period material. Plenty of space between it and GT to work with.

While I'm certainly grateful, I hate that I'll have to spend the next few months worrying if it will or will not include Goten. >_<

UH. WOW.

Yes, this is exciting! Even if one had guessed that there was another movie coming up, there's a lot of crazy stuff in that article that I look forward to hearing more about / clarifying. It is my impression that Toriyama didn't "originally intend" much in the manga, and that it wasn't really planned ahead so much as written by the seat of his pants.
