I believe you're talking about Castor's article, right? He was solely writing from a personal perspective, not a general overall lineage of every fansite ever. I don't know why he would talk about sites he had no familiarity or affiliation with. There were thousands of sites none of us have ever visited, let alone knew existed. You can't write about what you don't know about.

You have no idea how much was on the docket when we first started working on this. I had planned on doing short segments on a bunch of anime staff members, but we were just way too busy to get it done in time. Julian had planned about twice as much as what you see actually written, as well. Real life sort of took over at some points. The movie news didn't help either. Funny enough, the final version that came out today was not the final version we had yesterday. We actually had a very late submission that got put in this morning, about an hour before we posted it (you know who you are). How Mike got it in, I have no idea...
