You mean like how SSGod and Beerus using one million of his full power can destroy a universe but stronger fighters don't do shit? I don't think that would work
If we never had SSG, that wouldn't have happened  Best thing we had prior to DBS was Cell saying he'd blow up the Solar System.

I agree, making UI a Silver SSJ God was a terrible decision.

I thought Asians normally don't have much body hair. I've seen countless shirtless scenes in Toku shows and Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies and they don't show any hair. Unless they remove them off-screen? So far Mister Satan is the only one I know in the entire franchise to sport manly body hair, but maybe because he was based on American wrestlers he was designed with more American traits like the chest carpet in mind?

Never though it could be related to Asians in general, but that's make sense. I remember Norris having a haired chest when he fought Bruce Lee.

As trash as I think Freeza turning good would be, I wouldn't mind an arc where he seems to be fully redeemed, where he and Goku take down a big villain together, only in the next arc him to turn back around and reveal he was playing the long game. Not necessarily be the big bad, but maybe his betrayal unleashing an even greater foe. Playing more of a Cell arc Vegeta role. It would fit the Dragon Ball formulas of: Villain joins heroes out of necessity, he pulls his worth, then actually joins the "team", but since it's Freeza, it comes with a twist. Also, I feel it would fit with his development, after rushing twice to get his revenge, this time planning to strike from the inside.

Sure, we know nothing about how the ToP ends but since the movie follows after that and the title of the episode being "Miraculous Conclusion", I don't think there's any huge twist coming right away.

How come the DBS version of Battle of Gods set Bulma's birthday party on a cruise ship instead of her house like in the movie? It seems like a pretty unnecessary change.

Also the scenario of the battle between two Gods being close to a cruise in the middle of the ocean was unappealing.

Change for the sake of change, I guess. Back then people were complaining because they were retelling BoG and FnF, so I guess they chaned the scenery to spice things up a bit.

A volcano would be a proper scenario then.

Now that you mention it, I wish the FnF arc took place in a volcano-esque setting rather than the same bland, boring and uninspired landscape from the movie.

Does anybody know what Goku's saying during the post-credits frame of Movie 4? Thanks.

Most anime characters to me don't really look Asian per say but moreso European and anime has an Anime-European culture of its own, way back then there were European-Japanese series which were absolute masterpieces and still well remembered to this day. For example, where does Gokû fit either as Asian or European? Somewhere in the middle.

https://reelrundown.com/animation/top-t ... ired-anime

Attack of Titans has like German characters, 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother has Marco who's Italian, Willy Fog Around the World in 80 Days a Spanish-Japanese production, Dogtanian and the Three Musketeers also a Spanish-Japanese production, Kaiketsu Zorro an Italian-Japanese production, D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers inspired by the European Alexandre Dumas, and so on. Then there are a lot of fairy tale anime stories also inspired by European artists. Also worth mentioning, Shin-chan had an episode dedicated to Spain so that also says a lot.

It's an honor that the Japanese love the European culture so much and I love their culture very much, too.

And yes, Mr. Satan is unequivocally European-American.

Kais live for millions and millions of years, right? So when the Elder Kai gave his life to revive Goku, did Goku receive all the years that were remaining in the Elder Kai's lifespan? Is Goku going to live for millions of years? :wtf:

Why didn't Toriyama gave this design to Cabba:

It's so much better than that scrawny kid excuse of a Saiyan.

Cabba is supposed to be scrawny. That's...kinda the point.

But, why? To contrast with bulkier Saiyans from U7 or to just appeal the young audience?

U6 Saiyans are not battle lust warriors like their U7 counterparts, the less muscular body makes for a good contrast to U7 Saiyans, making the point come across with more emphasis.

What's the connection between being scrwny and appealing to young audience?
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

That doesn't mean they can't be tall, heck even Caulifla and Kale (besides her LSSJ form) looks like a bunch of kids.

I've read sometimes that shounen anime nowadays tends to have these kid like characters to appeal their audience

He says something along the lines of "eh, I only had maybe another thousand years left anyway." So Goku didn't get millions of extra years added on when the old Kaioshin donated the rest of his life, but unless his guess about his remaining lifespan was way off, Goku should definitely have a much longer lifespan than any ordinary Saiyan now.

Maybe that's why Whis offered him Beerus's position as God of Destruction... he knew he'd actually live a lot longer than just another 50-70 years. XD

Goku spent 7 years together with Lord Kaio and Bubbles(and Gregory in the anime) in Heaven, which is the longest uninterrupted time he has spent with anyone aside from his Grandpa, but we don't really know when Grandpa Gohan died, so can't be completely sure.
Of course Goku wasn't joined at the hip with his dead friends, so he might not have hung around with them all the time, so the person Goku has almost certainly spent the most time uninterrupted time with is Vegeta, when they trained together in the RoSaT before the U7 vs U6 showdown.
Imagine that.
