Wasn't that boy a robot? Not that it makes it better because Blue didn't know it, but I think that's where the comedy was supposed to come from, not "look at this pedo, isn't it funny!?"

After rewatching that scene where Gohan has a dream about his father coming back to Earth, I came to the conclusion that Chi-Chi looks better with her hair down.

Even in animation it holds true. I've always thought women look better with their hair down. I don't mean this to sound skeevy, it's just what I find more appealing.

I don't know if this was asked, but would anyone happen to have (or know where one can find) the Dragon Ball next episode preview translations? I have them for Z thanks to the US Dragon Boxes, for GT thanks to the singles, and it's just irritating that I don't have them for Dragon Ball.

Well, he did get a Super Saiyan type golden aura when he powered up, starting with Imperfect Cell after absorbing a ton of humans... then Perfect Cell showed that he can use the "Ultra Super Saiyan" bulked-up form, like what Trunks did... and then Super Perfect Cell had a SSj2 aura complete with lightning.

Yeah, it seems like Cell was heavily implied to have reached a "Super Saiyan-esque" state, starting at the time he reached full power in Imperfect form and carrying over to his higher forms. Of course, maybe increase in power it gives him might not be as big as the Saiyans' and half-Saiyans' 50x boost due to him being a Frankensteined mish-mash of different species that couldn't ever interbreed naturally rather than a Saiyan or naturally-occurring hybrid, but it's still there. Plus this would make more sense out of that filler scene where Krillin is able to knock Cell away (not only was he caught off guard, it was only "base" Cell, and not even at full power yet!) and make it more believable that he went from having to run away from Piccolo (even after he'd used up some energy to regrow an arm) to being able to completely overpower both Piccolo and #17 just from eating a bunch of ordinary PL 5 humans -- eating humans didn't increase his power all that much, it just brought him over the threshold he needed to reach before he could go "Super Saiyan" and that was what gave him the boost in power.

Yep. クリリン (Ku-ri-ri-n) can be translated as basically any combination of letters that makes a K sound (with a U optional), an R/L sound, an I sound, another R/L sound, another I sound, and then an N sound. So Krillin, Kuririn, Kurilin, etc... and even weird wacky spellings like "Clylyn" technically work as an English spelling of クリリン.

The Androids made it 100% clear that their main goal was to kill Goku, Krillin's best friend since childhood

And Krillin didn't just hesitate but flat out refused to kill #18 just because he found her pretty??

What the fuck? That decision almost doomed the entire planet if not universe.

Joke thought: had a realization that early Dragon Ball is kinda like the Lord of the Rings.

- A company of unlikely allies goes on a journey (to find Dragon Balls).
- Goku climbs the Two Towers (Muscle Tower and Karin Tower).
- Then we see the Return of the (Demon) King.

By then, the circumstances had changed. Also, Goku was healed by that point.
