Even though Toronto dubs aren't very good (probably because of the voice director), I could see Cal Dodd as Piccolo (A deeper version of his Wolverine voice), Len Carlson as Frieza, James Blendick as Cell and John Stocker as Majin Buu. Some other performances are tricky. Can't think of anyone in their talent pool that could pull off Vegeta or Goku.
"It was deemed to be too awesome." - Scott McNeil on Dragon Ball Kai not being aired yet in Canada.

That's really low man, the people at FUNimation work their asses off to the point where people who don't even like the dub can respect the work put into it. Stop acting like the FUNi dub actors are people off the street with no acting experience at all, this isn't 1999 dude.
I thought the title meant, "proper," english like British English. Pip pip cheerio and all that!

That would be a whole different set of voice actors! Can you imagine british comedians and others trying to scream like that constantly. Let alone in proper british style. ><

Is it better or worse american english is the prefered english for most/ a lot of dubbed anime?

Voice acting like it's 1999! You could make a song after that.
