At this point, considering that they never actually officially announced it and that this has been delayed ever since January of last year, I’m starting to lose hope. I wonder what it would be though. Getting the Future Trunks Edition of RoF on a home release before Japan? I mean Funimation released the extended version of Battle of Gods before Japan did so I don’t know if it would be that. Episode of Bardock and PtESS being on a home release? I mean they’re available on the disks for Raging Blast 2 and DBZ Kinect in HD so I don’t understand why that would be an issue eithersangofe wrote:SSGSS Goku wrote:Went back into this page and now they just have the release date as December 2018. I’m assuming at this point, this will mean that they actually did push it back to June and have no idea when it’ll actually be released. *sighs*
DECEMBER THIS YEAR?!! Are you kidding me??

When the time comes, they'll change it to December next year.

Thanks for the (re-)heads-up on this. Picking it up! International shipping is so cheap these days...

Would these include English subs at all? I'm assuming no.

Wow, I'm so glad this thread got bumped, I would've never forgiven myself for not knowing about this. Can't wait for this to be released. Hopefully we'll see similar releases from FUNi or Toei

Wow whoops! I thought this was another ridiculous delay! I guess I should do a bit more of that reading thing.

Only french subtitles, according to Fnac France.Forte224 wrote:Would these include English subs at all? I'm assuming no.
Audio is Japanese (DD 5.1) and French (DD 2.0).

Thanks for the bump!
I ripped the .wmv files from my 360 discs for PtEtSS and EoB after I realised how terrible the quality of the Japanese DVD release was but it will be good to get these at a decent bitrate (even though I'm pretty lukewarm on the content) along with the extended version of Resurrection F.
Here's hoping that FUNimation aren't far behind once this materialises.

I did the same here. But in my case, for some reason PTETSS is always extracted with no sound...Captain Awesome wrote:Thanks for the bump!

Oh well, at least this will be a considerable improvement in all fronts.

I'm close to pulling the trigger myself, but I don't want to find out it is a gross upscale after paying 30 euro.Luso Saiyan wrote:So, did anyone get this yet? How's the picture quality?

Same here. Since I already have BoG and RoF on Blu-ray, I'm having second thoughts about paying over 30€ for basically that single BD disc with the two OVAs. But if the picture quality is good and doesn't have any upscale softness or macroblocking, maybe I'll get it.Captain Awesome wrote:I'm close to pulling the trigger myself, but I don't want to find out it is a gross upscale after paying 30 euro.

There's a chance that Kaze got the digital master in full HD. I'm hoping they didn't just take the Jump DVD and blow it up to ugly proportions and slap on a Dolby Digital track. But a boy can dream...
