Obviously they wouldn't upscale the DVD when the master at least in HD. But we don't know if the OVAs were produced in HD (720p) or full HD (1080p). Will it be possible to rip the Soundtrack from this? In particular from Plan to Erradicate the Saiyans, since I loved the track that played in the final beam clash against Hatchyack.

it's not really a matter, some very skillfull people managed to extract bgm from stereo mix using two dub to create it

Well, ended up buying this.
To my surprise, the encodes are quite good. You can see that it's an upscale since the OVAs were probably conceived in HD, but there's no macroblocking, edge enchantment or any other artifacts. Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans has an average bitrate of 23.50 Mbps. Here are some samples:
