Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.
Interesting vídeo about the spinoff, particularly regarding the size of its readership and popularity (the rest as you will, is mostly opinion, I enjoy Super well enough).
Wouldn`t mind him creating a set of stories around Yamcha and Chiatzu. The spinoff was met with wide success and readership and the franchise could do with someone who fleshes out the older cast. Really nice to know that despite the popularity of the Saiyans and the main character status they have there`s still fanbase interest for the older guns.

I messed up my Yahoo JP order (got a new card and forgot to update) and I messed up and got just Super (instead of this one too) so now they there is just 3rd party copies I had to hop on ebay to get one. Luckly $10 aint too bad
I think an animated release is in pecking order. It gotta be, it`s expanded universe that works well within the frame of the story and is about how fans perceive the franchise. Not really different than some of Toryama`s own writting.
I just recently heard about "Sai" which is basically Goku`s stry told since he was a kid but with Vegeta in the role but it`s sort of disappeared. This on the other hand took people by surprise, made great numbers for a side character and has been unanimously well received.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.
