I thought Ryo Horikawa was like, a super big voice actor in Japan? I'm surprised he's not here.

He has Vegeta & Captain Falcon, plus voiced a few big deals back in the earl 90s/80s (makes an awesome Robin, actually), but nah, in general not a legacy VA. Like maybe Alan YOung (Scrooge McDuck, RIP) or Joe Alaskey (RIP) - I'd moreso compare him to some of the VAs on TMNT in the 80s - good for their time, & had a solid run, but generally not constantly racking up roles. Actually, I think Nozawa is mostly just Dragon Ball, too, thing is she does 4 different main characters. Yamadera is easily among, if not THE biggest deal, in Japan's VO pool.

She voiced him for a little while in 1973. I'm trying to think of a good Western comparison. Nancy Cartwright, who did tons of VO in the 90s, but hasnt really done anything since, due to being on the highest-paid, longest-running cartoon ever, is pretty accurate, although she reminds me more of Mayumi Tanaka in her vocal range. Like Bart sounds like young Kuririn in a way tbh.
