Hello.
I saw this for sale in Kinokuniya last week, didn't buy it at the time, but thought about picking it up later. I was curious (if anyone has this) if any/some/all text in this uses furigana above kanji? I can read Japanese, but I'm not able to read 100% of kanji.
Any advice is appreciated.

Re: A question about the Super History Book
From what I can tell, the text does indeed use furigana pretty much everywhere. So if you're comfortable with hiragana and katakana, you're set! Honestly the book is fun to even just flip through, so I think it's a cool purchase even if you're not all that good at reading Japanese.

Re: A question about the Super History Book
Excellent! Thank you for the info.
I'm honestly pretty comfortable with some kanji, but if I find one I don't know (and can't find it online quickly enough) I'm likely to sit there for a while with a dictionary searching for it. At least with furigana, I'll be able to quickly find the meaning of new kanji.
Thanks again.
