Question about the Viz release of the Full Color Manga.

Post by DHM211 » Sat Mar 25, 2017 5:10 pm

Has Viz released the whole manga in full color? I can't find an answer for it anywhere else online.

To date Viz has only released the Full Color versions of the Saiyan and Freeza arcs (8 volumes out of 32 total).

I think the current estimation of them having all of Z out is about 4-5 years. The whole manga would be about 7 or 8, maybe 9 years.
The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

I wouldn't even count on them finishing at all. They're dragging their ass on this one, I'm wondering if they don't sell well. I'm fine with it either way, B&W is fine, but I've grown to enjoy Full Color two, and part of me would hate to see them incomplete.

The fact they're dragging them out is probably so they do sell well. With this much time between releases, very few people will wait for a full release before starting to buy, so they sell better initially.

It's a pretty terrible solution to what is only a short-term problem anyway, though. And one that could easily be solved by the whole thing being released within the span a year or two.
