As I said above, hearing all the old VAs on TV again is pretty awesome and super nostalgic.

Besides, these first arcs with the Saiyans and Freeza are the most dramatic imo, so it's always a pleasure to watch.

But what's most important is that after all these years, DragonBall Z is ready to conquer a new generation of Greek fans!

I hope that DragonBall Z will capture their imagination as well. :D

One question: there are plans to broadcast Dragon Ball Super on greek television too?

I mean, it could be a good oportunity broadcast it after the end of this Dragon Ball Z reprise.

I know it's true that the Saiyan arc used the Greek dub of Makafushigi Adventure. I heard that the Freeza saga used We Gotta Power in Japanese, Cell saga used the Latin Spanish Cha-La and the Boo saga used the French opening.

BTW, I found the trailer for the DragonBall Zed Marathon. :P
I bet for you guys it was a shocker seeing major spoilers for later in the series during the Freeza saga.

It's coming to SMILE TV Greece.

Don't know what they mean by that but at least now we know that their source is ANT1's Betacam SP tapes.

It will be interesting to see for how long they kept the original DB opening for DBZ and what they used next.

Why did this dub have all the villains using filters for their voices?
"It was deemed to be too awesome." - Scott McNeil on Dragon Ball Kai not being aired yet in Canada.

From Toei Animation Europe:

Dragon Ball Z is back on air in Greece on Smile TV, every day since April 20.
The kids channel is broadcasting the Greek-dubbed version of the classic series in Greece and Cyprus, through DTT, cable and satellite, and IPTV.

I think that this has to do with the dubbing studio and the audio director.
