Has Dragon Ball already won any award?

Post by hectorgf » Fri May 19, 2017 10:03 pm

Well, I've hearded that Dr. Slump did it, and the show's composer, Shunsuke Kikuchi, has already won two international awards for his work in DB series. I remember to see that Dragon Ball, in Freeza saga, received 815 votes of 1000, which votation was about the best series of that time, didn't it won any award at this time?...
Well...Share your knowledge with me, please! :D :D

This forum is so over-dramatic that it's not even funny.

I'm sure it won loads of manga awards but I haven't heard about any. People will almost certainly know about all this here, so you'll have a decent response soon.

"My opinion of Norihito's Sumitomo's new score is... well, very mixed. The stuff that's good is pretty darn good, but the stuff that's bad makes elevator music sound like Jerry freaking Goldsmith." -Kenisu

I've never seen something like this before.
I guess it didn't received any award at all.

It came first place on a worldwide poll on greatest manga ever and in 2006, it was considered the 2nd best anime by Japanese celebrities (#1 being Lupin the 3rd).

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
