In Kai 1.0, Oolong's actor was changed, but what made them change him back to the old voice for the Boo arc??

I'm not entirely sure, but I think the other VA was brought in while the original VA was out on a theater troupe or something. Theater doesn't really pay, but anime dubbing pays even less, & he couldnt do both at once, so he went with his theater troupe.

At least I think that's the main factor.

He's been back since Battle of Gods. It wasn't all that noticable of a difference though, I think the Kai guy just had more of a Boston accent as opposed to Brad Jackson's Brooklyn accent.

Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!
